Has anyone used the word “lowly” that you put in quotes? You’re just another financially doped club. I’m worried we could become one too. Hardly something to celebrate. As soon as City have done the legal legwork and get away with their financial doping, you’ll be splashing the cash like it’s going out of fashion. Then it will be a short hop to the ESL and all that entails.
Please don't worry about becoming a financially doped club, you've already been one in the past.Now your just a club that wes itself out to every commercial sponsor and "official partner" that waves a grubby tenner in your direction, no matter how laughable and cringeworthy they may be, along with having anywhere between half a billion and £1 billion in debt, obviously no-one is quite sure of the actual figure as your accounts are hidden away in that bastion of financial honesty and accountability that is the Cayman Islands.
So proud of ETH and the team - had to find some solid mentality over the last 3 games to get us over the line. I was complaining ETH had overplayed them but he sorted it so kudos to him. Now lets go into the cup final and remember what we are trying to stop happening. The treble is United folklore!

It's been a hell of a ride this season - from the despair after the Brentford and Brighton shellackings, to the elation of home wins vs City/Liverpool/Arsenal, back to the despair of a 7-0 hammering at Liverpool and the nervousness of patchy form from then on in. Kudos to EtH - came into a broken dressing room, had the Ronaldo circus to deal with, a club low on confidence, the clowns upstairs etc etc.
3 key things for him to address next season;
1. Away form vs big teams
2. Controlling games
3. Getting us scoring more
We can really push on if he figures a way around those 3 issues. Having a proper striker will go some way to contributing across all 3.
I'd add a 4th point for next season;
4. Getting Antony to perform.
So far it's been a colossal waste of money, and I hope he is seeing something many don't that convinced him that he's worth £85mn of our transfer budget on. If Antony could chip in with 12-15 goals it would transform our attack.
Meanwhile here's hoping for an Everton relegation to cheer tomorrow

It's certainly come to something when potentially finishing just above 'lowly' Newcastle is seen as a succes by Man U fans - talk about crumbs!

I will add:1. Away form vs big teams
2. Controlling games
3. Getting us scoring more
1. learning to control the football
2. learning to pass the football
3. learning to keep the football and not give it back to the fking opposition within 3 passes

That does come over rather salty if you don't mind me saying.

It was in keeping with your rather salty post that started the discussion. I don’t like the idea of financial doping as I’ve already stated. Not sure INEOS will be throwing cash around for fun, unlike the Middle Eastern states do. At least it would be owned by a fan, but I’m sure he’d want a return on investment, not a toy to play with no matter the cost. Relegation, have to say a Leeds and Everton would be my choice, although no problem with Leicester accompanying Leeds in the Championship next season.
Things for us to work on I’d agree with what’s been posted. The big one for me, is to stop trying to play for a draw, as we’re not good enough and it usually ends in a tonking. We need to understand that playing it out from the back involves playing the ball forward not just sideways and backwards.
