So for those amongst us that we’re able to watch the game, how was the performance today?
A penalty saved ??
So third place/champions league, league cup,and an FA cup final!! There is not a single one of us in here that doesn’t see this as a decent season surely.
Champions league on its own would have been a decent season after last year.
I’m not agreeing with the doom mongers about the cup final -sometimes it’s good to be the underdogs,no way we can go toe to toe with City,so perhaps we have to play ugly anti football.ETH must have a plan .we might get battered, slim chance we’ll actually win it-but hey ho at least we’re actually in the fking final!!
Decent transfer window-Kane ,Mount/Rice and Kim min Jae would be perfect!!
Also Leeds have been relegated-And Leeds!!!ahahahaha

Overall, we were very poor to start with and their lead and subsequent penalty were well deserved. We had one decent attempt in that time which was a Rashford free kick. The penalty save was top drawer, absolute belter. That lifted the team and performance and we were very good for the remainder of the first half and the equaliser was fair. A penalty saved ??

Second half started better. Rashford should have scored a minute into the half. The pass from Fred for Bruno’s goal was amazing. Brilliant vision. Brilliant run, great finish. After that it all got a bit scrappy and we didn’t really show much ambition. Loads of subs on the hour from both sides left it to fizzle out. I stopped watching after 70 mins though.
Overall season has been far better than expected. We’ve been helped by Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea being really st, but we could have been that too. Winning a cup is great news, two would be epic, but not holding my breath on that. CL qualification is good for transfer business, can’t see that we’ll do much of note in there, but a decent run to the 1/4s would be good.
Hope we can push on next season.

You didn't miss much, to be fair. The last 20 kind of just fizzled out, barring a fantastic piece of work from Pellistri that opened Fulham up culminating in Weghorst missing a glorious chance to bag his premier league goal. I kind of had the impression we were saving ourselves a bit, or at least trying to, with the slow opening. Either way, job done and 4 straight wins to end the season is nice. Hopefully 5.
It was a solid comprehensive performance their goal and pen were against the flow of the game.
DDG who can’t save penalties saved a penalty. If he can learn to pass we might have a keeper on our hands. With 12 seasons of experience to draw on whist we develop a successor. Better the Red Devil you know? The crowd when he collected gave him the recognition he deserved. Rightly so after another game saving/changing performance. 2-0 would have been tough to recover from and would have meant we exerted unnecessary energy.
Defence aside that looked like a cup final warm up, line up if you see what I mean and we have momentum after another win.
A few of you need to have a little more faith. Not dig I love reading this thread post game. We get written off more often than a 17 year old’s Corsa. 3rd. The Carabou Cup and a possible fa cup win to ruin a City treble, from nowhere, without a none petulant striker and a brand new manager. fking good start for ETH and it could get insanely better next Saturday.
Complete tangent We had an interesting pre game debate as too who gets the vacant, legendary but heavy No7? Thoughts?

Did make me chuckle that Ronaldo’s new team also missed out on the title. Apparently they where top when he joined, and managed to come 2nd lolDDG who can’t save penalties saved a penalty. That is pretty funny tbh. Sorry to do this, but a big pet hate of mine. The word is were, not where. Apparently they were top when he joined, and managed to come 2nd lol

2 questions only from me:
1. Where is that poster who a few weeks back said Man United have not improved as they were on the same points as the same stage last season?
2. Any revised view now the final numbers are in
I was thinking about that smart arse as well. 1. Where is that poster who a few weeks back said Man United have not improved as they were on the same points as the same stage last season?
2. Any revised view now the final numbers are in
We don’t all agree all the time but we’ve improved significantly and there’s hopefully plenty more to come.
