I don't know how i'm going to get through today. I never thought id see the day when we are favourites for the PL title laugh

We have by far the toughest of run ins, but if we can get 3 points tonight and again on Sat..

Half of Spurs remaining games are against the traditional big clubs all of which they've already failed to beat this season namely Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd. I'd not get too far ahead of yourselves just yet. Leicester have a far easier run-in as do Arsenal. For me 3rd is where I'd reasonably expect them to finish. I'm also nonplussed to see West Ham at almost 3/1 for tonights game with Spurs at almost Evens.

If Spurs win tonight, they will go top of the PL, is that the first time ever?

When was the last time Spurs finished above Arsenal? 1995?

If the earlier results repeat themselves, Leicester will win the title by 14 points....

You won't find many of us getting too far ahead of ourselves, certainly those who have been going a long time! This is Spurs after all. During 'arry's reign we were several points (8 and 10 from memory?) above our neighbours entering March, but still managed to finish a point behind on two occasions. We have the hardest run in, so I expect a few twist and turns yet. I've seen better teams than what we have now not win the league.

Very nervous about the game over the east side tonight.

But .. our biggest defeat of the season is just 2-1 & nobody has scored more than two against us all season.

We are capable of scoring from all positions , only Wimmer, & Davies have failed to score this season other than Lloris obviously.

Our goal diff should really fill us all with optimism rather than pessimism .

Were going to lose aren't we frown

Leicester have an easier run in, for sure. Wouldn't say Arsenal do. I'd say we have the easier away matches, Arsenal the easier home matches. Very even.

Think Spurs have been top already this season (maybe for 10mins or so!)

There are a lot of points to play for still - yes, mathematically maybe it is in your hands but you can only really say that with two mins of the season to go - not this far out - fans forget there is a another team on the pitch also trying to win (unless they've parked the bus). Leics might have the easier run in on paper but no game is a shoe-in this time of the season ... each season the top half of the table get closer to one another slightly ...

Leics had their little bit of fortune on Sat (playing not great but still winning). Gonna be a great run in for the neutral. If either you lot or Leics won it I'd be very happy ... Potch really would be a god then ...

So going top for a few hour due to some 'early kick-off' or opponents playing on Sunday/Monday doesn't count. It only counts when that weekends games have all been played (game in hand scenario's are irrelevant). also top during first 4 games of the season don't count either). Nor does Alphabetical order on day one. (Arsenal always bloody top!)

Spurs ever been properly top? (not winding up here, I've genuinely no idea).

Take your stab vest or you'll be shaking through blood loss.

I cant believe this game is being allowed to take place in a night game.

According to today's Telegraph, "Tottenham have never been top of the Premier League (outside of August) apart from a few days in September 2002".

God, they never stayed in and what a pain early in the season when 2pts for the win (as it was then) could move you 10 places ...

At least everyone played on the same day back then and at the same time (SATURDAY 3pm, lest anyone forget) - so you only had to do it once a week.

If i remember rightly Spurs got 5 points for a win and 3 for a draw
