As an outsider looking in I don't get the isue with DDG. Wins the golden gloves competition despite shipping 7 in one game against Liverpool, has a higher shot/save percentage than Ramsdale or Ederson despite facing more shots than either of them and still gets moaned about.
He's not the problem, it's the lack of goals at the other end of the pitch that needs resolving if you're going to challenge MC IMHO.

He makes some serious mistakes but that isn’t the real issue ,the problem is his distribution is atrocious which is quite important in the modern era ,he also has no command of his box .He's not the problem, it's the lack of goals at the other end of the pitch that needs resolving if you're going to challenge MC IMHO.
His shot stopping is astonishing of that there is no question but his weaknesses put the team under pressure .

Keepers are a risky business (just ask Chelsea) and there is a very small group of elite possibilities. You could find someone who's better at distributing the ball but chances are they'll concede more goals, also putting your team under pressure. Just seems a long way down the priority list to me?

To get someone now who can start straight away will be a few quid and we dont have that at the moment.
You can see he has a couple of big issues which wont get better and means he doesn't fit into ETH style, but we will have to live with it for another season.

I want to see him gracefully move into our number 2 as he’ll be perfect. Last thing United need now is the debacle we had replacing Schmeichel when we’ve glaring issues elsewhere.

It isn’t the most important issue and yes hard to identify a replacement but you asked a question which I hope I answered .Just seems a long way down the priority list to me?

His contract is up. That makes it a priority whether we have other glaring issues or not. Just seems a long way down the priority list to me?

So looking forward to tomorrow and nervous at the same time. I remember as a kid watching us stopping Liverpool doing the treble. Can it happen again? Shame we don't have the build up on tv anymore till kick off.
That was great!!Everyone would be up watching FA cup day no matter who was playing-remember the helicopters following the teams coaches to Wembley!!
I can remember us being massive underdogs in 1985 against a very powerful Everton side that were expecting to roll us over and we played a lot of the game with ten men and Norman scored a belter!

The city fans seem very confident indeed-and why not.
Let’s hope the city players are over confident too.
We’ve nothing to lose.
Couldn’t get tickets for the final for a reasonable price,so my son and me and the lads I work with that go with us to Manchester are watching in the pub tomorrow-nobody is expecting too much,I’m still busting for tomorrow!!

I was reminiscing about this recently. It used to be a whole day of interviews and team stories etc with the helicopter shots of the bus and the fans streaming down Wembley Way. It’s just another matchday now, sadly the magic is gone.
The BBC are currently showing an hour long football focus devoted to the final, and then after a quick break for the news at 1:00 for 15 minutes they then have another couple of hours of build up. Not sure what more you're looking for TBH as 3 hours is surely sufficient?Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
