Hmm, ok not the humping it could have been given that early lead we gave them, and while we've struggled to make chances VAR helped. Nonsense, but 1-1 at half time I think we would have taken 20 seconds in.
Not sure what Lindelof was thinking letting that ball bounce, but I guess he just wasn't awake enough at the start. DDG maybe could have done better, but it was a cracking strike.
Sucks having to watch it on ITV though, but Jenas is doing my head in.

A truly appalling start. Reminded me of that game at Wembley vs Spurs when they scored after about 10 seconds.
Weirdly could see it coming a mile off, as soon as the move was building kind of knew it would be a goal.
We got back into the game pretty well, don't look remotely like scoring in open play but we caused them some problems for sure.
Happy to take the handball, given ones that have gone against us this season. You knew by the way about 4-5 of our players appealed for it (as opposed to fans appealing for it) it would be a pen.
The kicking from DDG has been utterly woeful - no idea how anyone watching can't see upgrading him is urgent. When he gets the ball it feels as if there is an 80% chance it lands with a City player. When the City keeper gets the ball there looks about a 10% chance it lands with a United player. Constantly turning over possession to a team so good in possession invites so much pressure.
Think we are in with a shout 2nd half, literally anything can happen in these one off games. I do worry about the lack of goal threat but still sense Rashford could create something out of nothing.

I know Sancho has been much improved recently but why isn’t Garnacho playing in his place? Is he still recovering from the injury? His pace along with Rashford’s would surely give the freakishly fast Walker a bit of a dilemma.
Expect we will see that change around 60 minutes, alongside McTom for Eriksen. Lets hope we can last longer than 10 seconds this half.Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
