So what does the peanut gallery think of signing Werner permanently? Good bench warmer? Not good enough?

I guess with Levy's attack on the pensioner/disabled seats there is a lower chance of somebody in the upper stands copping a ball in the face from one of his shots.
He was a cheap stop gap, he's nowhere near good enough to play as a first choice forward for us.

I bet Levy buys him because it's an easy deal and he's cheap.
Good energy, reasonable crosses, but not a great finisher... undecided. At times useful, who have we got who's better?
We sold the best anyone else will come up short

Depends who else we are looking to bring in over the summer. There are some very obvious transfers that will happen, given the financial status of some clubs:

Gallagher
Toney
Braithwaite
Eze
Olise
Kelly
Adarabioyo
Dewsbury-Hall

Maybe even Palmer, Isak etc.

2 or 3 of those we've definitely been courting.

If we assume that we sign a striker (and probably move Richarlison on to Saudi), then Son plays left and Werner is a squad player. Great pace, gets into good positions but final ball isn't really good enough. Certainly not as a starting 11 player. Could we buy better, probably (we could certainly buy worse). Depends where Ange wants to prioritise the money. It would certainly be a Levy signing but I don't see the value in bulking out the squad with a 28 yo on £165k a week, who isn't demonstrably better than what we already have.

Tonights game has to be one of the most basket case fixtures in the entire league, who knows what's going to happen.
Yeah on the face of it this could end up 5-5, but unfortunately these things sometimes end up dull 0-0.

Need Spurs to get 3 points. Don't want top 4 to be off the table by the time they play City hehe

Ideally at the point… Spurs needing a win and relying on a win else to get CL for added motivation wink

The original question was should we sign him permanently, not who have we got better now, to which my answer is a resounding no we shouldn't sign him, we can do much better.

Depends how much. A good squad player if the right price? I thinks he's done ok

Apparently Mikey Moore has been training with the first team again this week.

I know we have a few key players out but surely BA is not going to play a 16 year old in the NLD?
Mikey Moore on the bench for the Chelsea game tonight redface

Sums up the second half of the season. At least now we don't have to worry about 4th and getting a result at City!

2 set pieces again. We spotted this issue 5 months ago. Wish I could get paid millions to see problems and do fk all about them.

I'd play Donley, Lankshear and Moore across the top for the remainder of the season.
