I really don't understand the mentality of Norwich fans. I've mentioned this on here before, but this thread has confirmed my suspicions.
Disco Dale has commented in the Ipswich thread 3 times in the past 30 days, yet only once in the Norwich thread.
Variable.. whatever his name is - has posted four times in the Ipswich thread but only twice in the Norwich thread.
I've got about a 50/50 Norwich/Ipswich fan split amongst my mates, and the only ones that mutter on about 'the scum' are the Norwich fans. And before anyone says it, it's something I've noticed over the past four or five years (if not more). So it was the same when Norwich were struggling, none of my Ipswich mates made a single comment that I can remember.
Honestly lads, you're making yourselves look very, very sad with your constant snide comments on here. If you're retaliating to an individual, do it in private or in your own thread.
And no, you haven't 'hit a nerve' or whatever your retaliation will be, because to be honest I'm an occasional Town fan (they're my most local team, so I like to see them do well). I really do wonder though, if you realise just what sad little men you're making yourselves look

After the game at Portman Road last season, CVM posted a message along the lines of "hope your brother enjoyed his welcome to Portman Road" directed at me.
He knew my brother had been attending the game, and I can only presume he knew about the disorder which led to 3/4 of our support being stranded outside the ground until after the 1st goal, a good 15 minutes or so.
This disorder consisted of a load of little Ipswich chavs throwing fireworks, amongst other things into the Norwich support who where simply trying to make their way to the ground.
Contrast this with the snowballs we threw at your lot after your football lesson last November.
The reason we call you scum is because you act like scum.

my 'welcome to Portman road' comment made no reference to the firework incident. If you read back you'll also notice I stated that such behavior was unwarranted and I didn't condone it. I saw nothing of this behavior going on anyway And to be honest I'd go as far as saying that your brother is lying or you are making it up to enhance your hatred of everything that is to do with Ipswich.
However you are too wrapped up in your own anger and bitterness against our club to act with any maturity.

In contrast, our supporters give a standing ovation to an opposing player who scores and receive praise from their club as "amazing supporters".

I didn't ignore it, it was discussed at the time. I was one of several who outed the individual and he recieved a life ban for his troubles.

Anyway, back to town......bad situation isn't it? I'm not quite sure what is needed to turn things around......I know one player doesn't make a team, but this run seemed to coincide with Sonks getting injured.
