True. Nothing beats a derby for atmosphere.

I always make the effort and go.

Not always nice to do a 400 mile round trip though to receive a 1-5 shafting wink

I love a derby, it's what all fans crave.

Most boxing days have been spent watching Kirkley & Great Yarmouth though!

As much as I hate to say it, I really rate Holt, I think he's a right handful and a decent finisher too, just lacks pace obviously.

Be fair he is very selective, I'm sure he has an Eric Gates DVD at home. The art of picking your knees up on half way and landing in the box!

All about the 'hang time' wink

And Holt doesn't hang, ever!

Can't agree I'm afraid. I don't rate him at all.

I'm blinkered though. I admit. I'd take Morison over him any day.

I enjoyed one part of our derby thrashing: Darren O'Dea caught Holt with a beautiful elbow square on the jaw right in front of me. It was a beautiful moment and funny at the same time. It was like out of a Roadrunner cartoon where his neck stretched like his head was on a spring. hehe

Credit where it's due though he took it well but didn't bother reacting as O'Dea is one hard fker.

I'm amazed none of the refs saw it. They most probably enjoyed it as they hated Holt to. wink

With all due respect if you want to hurt Big G the last place you’d worry about is his head, just try and steal his lunch money as whilst others are on a steady diet of mineral water and grilled chicken the main man will off down the chippy!

Morrison is an odd one, not the brightest lad (1 GCSE according to Wiki) but there is absolutely no interaction with the fans or any of his team mates. I may be doing his a great disservice but come April if the wrighting is on the wall and we are back off to the Chumpionship you just know his agent is going to be busy. Talented mind you, not expensive and better than Craig Mac Smith?

We’ve all had that sort of player, Marcus Bent I seem to recall did pretty well for you boys whilst in the Prem but was soon looking for the exit once relegated? From memory my ITFC supporting mates couldn’t stand the bloke as whilst talented just didn’t gel with the support

Now therein lies a common discussion topic with the blokes at work and mates who support Town, there seem to be a few to many who just don’t seem bothered or is that down to management?

Who’s next in all seriousness, old Spanky isn’t going to last is he?

Well, if things don't improve I can't see him staying.

Next? God knows. The romantic in me would love to see Burley back. The realist wants Curbs.

I simply can't understand why we've gone downhill overnight.

We had the best form in the league and were outplaying everyone. Then we had a shakey performance against Palace and the confidence went. After that we've become a different squad. Odd really.

I'll be hauling myself to Barnsley this weekend in the hope that the run CAN'T continue. Can it?
