Personally i don't think ADM had the minerals for a full premier league campaign, Falcao i think has that bit more about him, i guess we will all have to wait & see how he gets on in London this season.
FFS, will you STOP making me agree with you? Its getting awkward Cie said:
Not really a concern. Falcao and Di Maria were expensive flops a few weeks ago, now everyone's calling them world class FFS.
I think you are right there. They can't be both. Falcao wasn't that expensive either, and if it'd have paid off it would have been a master stroke. ADM is the big question; will he come good at PSG and will that be the fault of LVG (no) or is it the fact that he is going to what is an easier league?GTO-3R said:
He will shine in the French league much like he did in the Spanish league because apart from the top 2-3 teams, the rest are distinctly average. Shame he's not got the mentality or balls to prove himself in the toughest of leagues.
As opposed to the Premiere League where the top 3 or 4 clubs are at best average and the rest poor. The vast majority of teams in the Prem set out at the start of the season with the goal of avoiding relegation and that goal usually remains for most until 30 games have gone. The EPL is competitive game by game but don't fall for the hype that other leagues don't compare. The same 4 top teams will be the same 4 top teams will be the same 4 top teams. The rest will be scrapping. Europa League, FA Cup run, pick up the TV money. That's the rest.

Ha, that ungoing, nonsense opinion again. I would definitely take out the Spanish leaque in the above, they're the Numero uno in Europe for a while now (PL no3) and seem te be winning quite a lot.....Besides, apart from a few clubs from Spain, Germany, England, and 1 from Italy and 1 from France; it can all be categorzied under the title "average".
The UEFA may even ask itself why the hell they start the CL in July when we already know/can predict that the usual suspects will meet eachother in the 1/4 finals.

Beg your pardon? Ungoing? I do go to games thanks. If you read through all my post in the football section you will see I don't post nonsense opinionated things.
I didn't direct it to you in particular; I've read similar opinions.....And speaking of int. football; Man.City is down 4-0 at halftime against VFB Stuttgart.
It's only a friendly; but still it's weird that City has been struggling for years in Europe with so much money spend and so much quality.

Eh? In the past 4 years alone 6 different teams have made the top 4. ManU have been as low as 7th and Chelsea have been as low as 6th.If you expand it to top 5 then include Everton and Newcastle as well.
Even within the top clubs the outcome is hardly certain with Chelsea 7/4 favourites to win this year (compare Bayern Munich 1/8 and Juventus 4/6).
I'd say the Prem is one of the most competitive leagues.
