Mixed feelings,
He was my preferred choice after Fergie, my preferred choice after Moyes & LVG as well. Brought some good moments, but mostly bad (in a Clarkson vs Vietnam Moped way). Saying that, I think we have a few more dark patches before the light hits us again.
I got a new United mug as a secret santa gift and decided to use it today for a turn in fortunes (the last one I used I got shortly after Fergie left). Midway through my first cuppa and hes gone. You're welcome

Wow, Correct decision by the club, terrible for everyone else, we wanted him to stay.
It's between Poch and Zidane in the summer I reckon.
Remember my fact from the weekend?

Fun fact.
On 5th Jan 2011 we lost 3-1 to Blackburn leaving us 19 points behind man utd. That was Roy Hodgsons last game...
Funny old game isn't it?On 5th Jan 2011 we lost 3-1 to Blackburn leaving us 19 points behind man utd. That was Roy Hodgsons last game...
i think he was on borrowed time and he SHOULD have been a success and he can't lay the whole blame for performances this season on not having a world class centre half.
our midfield, formations, tactics and yes player attitudes have all contributed to this point in time.
the juve result probably extended his stay but papered over the cracks tbh.
i now want a proven manager with man management skills and a decent style of play.

Shocking news. I mean, Alpine was right all along.
You can console yourself thinking it was the Liverpool result. CharlieH89 said:
Sacked = £20m payout?
Whatever the payout it's several millions for doing a poor job. Must be the only industry (if can cal it that) where you get paid out for being sacked and immediately get re-employed. We've seen so many poor manager get jobs with in weeks of being sacked. Strange chap. He was a breath of fresh air during hi first stint at Chelsea but appeared to become increasingly bitter and rude club after club. selym said:
