And as bad as they were Rangers couldn't create anything.

Aberdeen only went up the park a few times and each time things opened for them. McGinn should have scored in the first half when the Rangers defence went missing again.

I must be the jinx for Rangers as every time I've seen them they've been poor.

Gers not good enough today. Aberdeen bottom 6 fodder for me. Didn’t get Gerrard’s team selection at all. Think manager has fked that one today as we needed more attacking minded midfielders. Big Sadiq very rusty - if he knew he was going to get played he should’ve got some game time in recent matches.

Well done to Celtic and Aberdeen on making the final only saw bits of the Murrayfield game in the pub so couldn’t comment.

Looking at the full house at Murrayfield maybe the SFA have made a mistake with remaining at Hampden!
Murraryfield having huge try areas that really show when laid out for football makes for same the problem of fans being too far away from play as Hampden.

But if they'd like to sort Hampden out and bring more international and cup ties to my doorstep in the mean time, that's fine.

I didn't realise that Murrayfield was that much bigger. It didn't look right.

It also has an apron in front of the west stand that used to have a 6 lane track, so the pitch appears further away. But compared to Hampdump the rake of the stands all round is steeper making the sight lines much better.

The playing surface also sounded like an issue. Sutton said the surface was sticky and three players getting injured isn't a good sign either. All got injured doing nothing.

Has anything been said about the ball squashing incident? Is that going to be violent conduct?

I assumed it was a similar surface to Tynecastle? Some sort of grass with plastic foundation job.

Certainly unsportsmanlike of the Celtic player to place his balls in the Hearts player’s hand wobble

Couldn’t believe Lennon started goading the crowd. Presumably he’ll get done for that.

Hopefully it goes without saying that I’m not suggesting he deserved it. Nobody should be getting stuff chucked at them from the crowd - punches or coins or whatever.

Would you say the same about the Hearts goalie?

If he was goading the crowd then obviously I would. I saw him sarcastically applauding after he was hit.

Where's Edinburgher and his pious moralising today?

Prick of a Hibs manager goading opposition fans... Hibs fans attacking opposition players... Hearts fans throwing coins...

How's he gonna blame this one on Rangers?

Lennon is trying to outdo Diego Simeone for the longest time spent in the stands by a manager...

Did it even hit him in the face? It doesn't look so.

Lennon shouldn't goad the crowd, but when they abuse him for 90 minutes the fans can't moan when he gives a little back.

I see a man has been charged for attacking the assistant ref. I missed that bit. So that's Lennon, the Heart's goalie and the assistant ref all subject to assault in one game. That's some going. It is embarrassing for Scottish football and this is getting lots of focus.

The game looked scrappy. Not the best game.

Celtic cruising again. 5 goals should have been a lot more again.

Didn't sound as Livingston did too well last night. Hardly a sniff.

Rangers dropping more points to Kilmarnock. Killie should have won it in the end after more calamity defending.

Also concerning yesterday was Rangers announcing losses of over £14m until the end of June. What mess will finances be in at this stage funding Gerrard and all his signings?

Just show's you how fragile the ego is of some football fans that they can spend 90 minutes abusing someone and can't take one wee gesture back, but but but Lennon
