Genuinely surprised by how many decent chances to score we had. Genuinely unsurprised by our total inability to convert any of them.

Giroud is a bang average striker, he should be at Everton or Stoke. Courtois is massively overrated, I'd drop him and play Big Willy for the rest of the season. Fabregas had a poor night. Hazard tried but was ineffective. Kante, Willian and Alonso emerge with some credit, maybe Rudiger too.

Overall, I suspect that's our last CL game for 5 years. Squad rebuild required.

Thought the ref had a very good game. Alonso pen, maybe, but not a lot in it.

Absolutely and I'm glad we've gone out and had a go this evening. That little bit of luck has been missing in both games with Willian cracking the post twice as well. Hopefully we can push on and get 4th in the league but I doubt it.
Alonso & Rudiger too. But for those small margins and some poor goalkeeping it could have been quite different, but then we can't say if Barca would have stepped it up if we'd been a couple of goals up. Just glad we had a go, rather than handing them 85% posession and trying to minimize the damage. If we play like that for the rest of the season we're in with a shout of 4th. But we probably won't.... rolleyes

Shame we made such poor errors at the back, you just can't do that with a team as clinical as Barca.

I said we need numerous chances to get a goal, that's been our main problem all season and it was prevalent again last night!

It shows how much Diego Costa is missed, the final piece of the jigsaw. I think he would have gone regardless of the bust up though frown

yes As above. The outcome was half expected but the way we outplayed them wasn't. We've played worse and won, thats football for ya rolleyes (Personally playing well and losing sucks, just adds insult to injury- winning is everything with footy!)

I'm hopeful we can keep the majority of the side that took part last night. We really need to add one or two more World class additions in the summer and we should be OK next season. But I don't want to sound like a Liverpool fan, so top 4 and winning the FA Cup really is a must for us....

Oh dear. Who’s up front? I’m on a train in Norway so will miss it; may be a good thing, but if we play like we did against Barca we should get it done

Will that mark be a 1/10?

Shouldn't it be mandatory that your alternate strip colour is sufficiently different from the opposition?

Why are Chelski not in their change kit?

Is Morata a ‘right one’?
