Soooo, there was definitely a cover-up, the police are going to pay compensation for said cover-up, but we're not going to find that any one was actually responsible for, or to blame for the cover-up. rolleyes

I'm wary of posting much following requests from the club to refrain from chat about it and not knowing what other proceedings are underway.

Suffice to say as it looks like getting to the truth and "justice" is going to be hard to achieve.

There are no more legal cases. The perverting the course of justice case that was thrown out for risible reasons was the last one.

Which is why they can now apologise.

This is how I understand it to be too.

I assume unless some new piece of evidence is uncovered, this is now how it will always be.

There is a potential development in the pcoj case but I am not sure it's going anywhere.

Hopefully someone goes after that Goldberg .

That was my understanding too. The money should come out of the pension pots of those responsible at the very least. stehawks.

I cannot comprehend how hard this must be for family and friends of the victims.

Gini has made a verbal agreement with Barca (according to them) but PSG have come in with a far larger salary offer. Reportedly he's favouring them now but still making his mind up. Barcelona - warmer...Paris...nearer home...

Are Barca a mess now though? They still have a lot of talent. They're restructuring their debt. They have huge revenues. And they still have the best player in the world. And now Augero too.

Personally if I was him, Barca would be my choice.

Location and lifestyle - Barca, although Paris is a great city. Biggest chance of medals before retirement - PSG.

Only my opinion - I just think Barca have some way to go to get back to what they were.

Pleased for him that he has the chance to play for another big club for a last big payday

Same here. I was reading today of a section of LFC fandom who were throwing bile in his direction after deciding he failed to celebrate Alisson's injury time winning header as madly as the rest of the team. They decided that meant he wasn't interested in the club anymore and should be dropped immediately.

Our very own Blue Moon Cafe mob, as it were. rolleyes

Going for the money? I imagine PSG must have offered a hell of lot more.

Good luck to him anyway - served the club well.

It would appear so.

He'll be on a mint.

Probably the kind of player they need though.
