shout SIMON!!! Your account’s been hacked by someone being reasonable!

beer Well done mate, let’s move forward together. Hopefully the crap state of our club is going to slowly start improving. It’s going to take time and patience but we will get there.

The club has been a st show ,any manager coming in when ETH came in would struggle ,Greenwood,Ronaldo ,supposed takeover… these are/were huge background issues that had a clear impact on the pitch .
Injuries have effectively denied ETH from picking anything close to a first choice 11 this season ,look at how injuries did Liverpool in last season .
Klopp and Arteta took 3-4 years to get remotely close to building decent teams .Its easy to criticise from our armchairs but as frustrated as I am I would be inclined to give him another season but I will never forgive him for insisting on buying Antony .
No no no, Simon800 says he's st so he's got to go.

Honestly, stop being such a fking weirdo.

I've already asked you to ignore me.
He's correct though, you and your best pal have ruined what was a good club discussion thread with your relentless and very embarrassing moaning/whinging and criticising.
Hats off to you both for how much effort you put into it all.
Amen. Used to be good in here but now the two ronnies are in full flow, it's st.

So how would you have it? Football divides opinions, fans / supporters see it differently. Some people like one player, others don’t. Some like one style of play, others don’t. And so on. That’s pretty much one of the joys of supporting a team. I want to see success, but I’m going to analyse a match when it’s finished win / lose or draw. The recent run of wins was great fun and a bit of a rollercoaster, but honest analysis showed we were playing far weaker clubs and still struggling.

The fact you and others have to insult people because they do what every football of every club does up and the down the whole of the country says more about you and your clique.

For example show me anything I’ve posted in recent months that’s wrong, anything that's unnecessarily critical, or anything that warrants the mob mentality being displayed by you and others around the sharing of valid opinions.

That's a very fair response from Simon , just need Unident ( sorry LF355 or whatever he is these days) to take note accordingly and let other posters have a genuine say without reading the same stuff literally every few minutes. It's the same whichever manager is in post and whichever players we sign or use.

I'm not actually bothered about posting on this thread any longer as you two guys literally ground me and others down. I'm sat waiting for positive things to happen in the next few years now big Jim is in the chair and things improve, till then it's pretty much suck it up buttercup for me, it will be whatever it will be. We still support the best club in the world for me, not necessarily the most successful in present times.

Guys, I'd like to apologise for clogging up the thread with negative posts.

My view on United IS negative, but there's literally no need to keep reiterating that every day. Doing so offers no benefit to anyone.

I also apologise for my catty responses to and31, 200plus and in particular Gone a Bit AMG who is a nice enough bloke that he previously offered me a ticket to a game. My genuine and sincere apologies for being rude.

I will think twice before posting anything in here in future, and ensure that it's not just repeating the same old st. Cheers guys.
Fair play mate. For what it's worth I generally find your reasoning backed up well and interesting reading. Maybe I don't always agree and yes it can be hard seeing so much frequent criticism, and frustrating too when it feels so harsh, but it's not really fair sometimes that we want to shoot the messenger so to speak. It's a discussion forum, it would be pretty bland if we only saw posts we agreed with / approved of. Just my two pence though.

In any case the weekend fixture is hopefully a chance for us to return to winning ways, by hook or by crook, so lets hope for that.

It always amazes me on any football forum how people’s subjective opinions turn into personal abuse over a subject that we all want to see do well .
This is a microcosm of the universe we now live in where civilised debate is nigh on impossible .
I perfectly get why people don’t rate ETH , but I also get why some want to show patience .
We can agree to disagree and I don’t want to see people stop posting because of their opinion ,lets just keep it civil.
We have the highest expectations of the club which are basically unrealistic given the way it has been run , we all want to see success and entertaining football the problem is we all have different opinions around how that should happen but chaps arguing over the internet with strangers doesn’t change anything .

Bit of a write off this season. We have 11 league games and possibly 3 in the FA cup, if we can deliver some European football for next season that will at least be something, maybe not the CL but at the worst Europa.
Whatever the reason ETH, injuries, players not good enough, off field antics or a combination of all of that just take comfort in the fact that the right people are coming in to run the club, the days of us getting our pants pulled down over transfers are gone and we can start to build something. Problem is Lverpool, Arsenal and City aren't going to let up.

This is not Communist China.
Or Taliban-controlled Afghanistan.

Post what you like.

If someone wants to very negative, so be it, post away.
If someone wants to be very positive, so be it, post away.

As a neutral, this thread is much more interesting to read through when you're all chucking turds at each other biggrin

A few overly sensitive folk on either side shouldn't be making it so others don't want to post. It's a discussion forum.

I can’t in recent months. But that’s because a series of posts on here over Mason Greenwood were deleted when I described being sexually abused as a child and you then decided to post a bloodied picture of his apparently abused girlfriend thinking it would contribute to that debate and belittle me. That’s after being asked to stop, repeatedly, I then got banned because offering Simon tickets is a breach of forum rules, whilst reporting your posts.

For the avoidance of doubt, in my opinion there isn’t a mob mentality from the positive posters. I’ve never seen GTO-R, AND31, BTSB, Challo etc etc insult someone on here and if I’ve have done it was just you as you can be and have been vile as you were in the above described and deleted exchange. Look in the mirror.

But you won’t as it’s everyone else that’s wrong…..all these posters that have been here as long as you have but haven’t been repeatedly banned for being rude to strangers on an online discussion forum are now a mob because they do not agree with you.

Find some joy in your life.

Don't think we ever get a resolution on why our previous Sunday game with Citeh was a 15:30 kick-off.

And if our chances of 3 points would have been improved with a regular 16:30 kick-off.
