I agree, I don't buy all this Fat Frank crap. He was a brilliant player for us (I had his name on my white away Dr Marten's/Fila shirt) and even though at the time Chelsea weren't superb it now looks like he made the right move. Ultimately the vast majority of the good players we produce will move away because the truth is we are not a big club and we produce players who are better than we are. No one can be surprised that Lampard, Carrick, Joe Cole, Defoe, Rio Ferdinand and Glenn Johnson moved on, and Stanislas, Noble, Hines and Tomkins will probably go the same way at some point. It is unfortunate that we keep feeding better clubs like this, but unless we turn into Man City that's not going to change. And if that did happen we would probably stop using our youth talent.

John Solako has just ruined my viewing experience by spouting so much crap it's now caked all over the inside of the screen on my TV.

According to him, Chelsea have been all over us and we've been "defending with 10 men behind the ball". I bet there were only two occasions when we had ten men behind the ball and they were both free kicks.

Honestly, I can't believe the media bias towards the top four sometimes.

Well, I feel somewhat robbed, but I would have taken a point before the game so I can't be too unhappy. It was a performance to be proud of, it's just a shame we don't play with the same attitude at places like St Andrew's and the KC/Reebok Stadium.

Just got back, cold can of lager in my hand, decent game that although reckon should've won though & wasn't expecting to type that!

Now, if we could play like that every week we wouldn't be where we are

Odd choice of pre-game music, Final Countdown seemed to set the scene, decent first half topped off with a well taken pen. Expected a chelski onslaught in the second half which never really came - cole was invisible & drogba didn't seem interested apart from one decent volley.

Quality game from Scotty P & Kovac's best game to date. Diamanti combination of quality & crap - needs new set of boots, spent too much time on his arse in the second half. Pity about Gabbidon going off but Tompkins kept Drogba in his pocket after coming on.

Pity we couldn't get a goal towards the end when we were well on top, still take a draw & means not bottom at Xmas, happy days

Reckon if we'd had our cole playing would've been different, one up front at home's always tricky, Franco too often isolated waiting for support.

Lampard can still fk off, grudingly I know he's a decent player but once a tosser....

Indeed you are mate, although I still a tad bitter about those Harewood goals against us on Cloughie's anniversary some years back (think it was a cup game)
