In cruise control with this game as soon as the the first one went in. Looking forward to the Barca tie, won't be easy and playing against Phil will be weird but overall I'm more than confident we'll get past them because we're the exactly the type of team that's setup to defeat teams like that. 4-1 agg to us on that (maybe too confident lol).

As much as I agree with you Type-r regarding PC, I also get the feeling he wanted to go a season before and was promised the move "next season" which obviously didn't come, hence his frustrating summer move. Same scenario with Suarez I believe but he handled it in a lot more of a professional manner (minus the purpose biting which probably brought down the price due to ban). Unless PC was £40m or less I wouldn't want him back. The Barca fans/club are quite frustrated at his 1 trick pont type goals/attempts (shot from just outside the box into top right) which funnily enough the PL teams were realising that how he scores 60% of his goals.... Still almost unstoppable when executed correctly.

Pogba though. Laughable at the prices Man U are asking for if they're correct (£120m). He's a £30m player for me at best. Definetly wouldn't have in our team. The only reason a team would spend a decent amount of money on him is to so called show investment into a club but in reality knowing they'd sell shirts to cover the costs. He's simply crap but has potential.

Regarding the Crouch book. Does he mention coming on for the last few minutes in the Champions League final? I was livid he didn't start, felt Rafas decision to leave him out cost us the trophy at the time. Stubborn bugger he was.

Good game from the Reds, cruised through in hindsight. That Madrid player looks decent doesn't he.

Bad result for us if they go out of the CL at this point as they'll go crazy for the league

Don't think it matters really, that may be true, but they go into their next game against Spurs with the momentum the right way for us.

Hats off to Tottenham, great result.

Do fear a City backlash. Hopefully it completely winds them.

Yeah I was torn for that game tbh. I just hope it's destroyed their morale, but can't see that

Both the backlash, and that Spurs will be probably be mentally shattered after that.

Let's hope bad results are like buses and this same tenacious Spurs turn up on Saturday!! They will be knackered though, mentally and physically.

Any one of the teams in the semi can win this. It's wide open.

Got to hope they were massively invested the champions League this year.
Could act as a catalyst for a backlash or a meltdown.

Will know I'm a couple of weeks.

Well done Spurs. I can see losing via a disallowed goal in injury time knocking City's equilibrium actually. A little doubt being introduced is a good thing.

Hope so, anyway.

Spurs are having a fantastic season imo. Good solid team. Shame though, hope they don't feel the backlash in the PL.

Liverpool, Barca, Spurs and Ajax - whoever put money on those semifinalists will have won a good pile of dosh. Bonkers.
