Nice sentiment, but a blinkered, bitter, impartial view.

I think the job actually has a lot to offer for a top manager.

It's the speciality of good managers, turning a struggling club around and reversing their fortunes.

Don't judge everyone by your own poor standards.
What utter rubbish. All Ipswich has to offer is salary. Burnley, Palace and Blackburn are all much better fits for managers at the moment. You'll probably end up with Shearer or someone st.

Low attendances

Poor team

Poor budget

Bottom of the league

To suggest it's an attractive job is bks.
We'll see. I suggest you worry about your own club having also won only one game this season. Hardly staying up form.

We're not in the relegation zone and we've played Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and Newcastle (4 of the top 6). I think we're probably in better shape for staying it up than you guys wink

As I said. We'll see.

Now trot along with Dildocase.

The next manager will get time and money, so that makes the job an attractive prospect.

Curbs currently favourtie, but Burley has just been on TalkSport and pretty much said he'd take the job if he had the opportunity.

I did want curbs before. I don't now.

He's been away too long.

Not sure about George either. Things have moved on since he was last here.

At the moment I'd settle for Peter Sutcliffe if it meant we got 3 points on Saturday.

Apparently we've contacted dougie freedman as his deal with Bolton is not done and dusted.

I'll never forget the day there were wads of notes being waved in our direction. A depressing day.

Now you're staring 3rd tier football in the face, and the odds of 1p5swich repeating the feats of Norwich and So'ton are virtually nil.

Oh, happy days.

Jesus wept. Grow up.

You're in danger if making yourself look as pathetic as Dildocase

It doesn't help that I spelt it wrong, albeit with a typo, but other than that I really couldn't care less.

The crowing from Town fans when you effectively relegated us was alomost too much to bear, not to mention the way they lined the streets at Portman Rd, filming us as we walked past, hurling some of the most vile abuse imaginable. After all that we're entitled to a few small digs, however peurile they may be.

Any football fan that is genuinely bothered by childish banter might need to do some growing up themselves.

While It always raises a chuckle when I see results like Saturday/Tuesday, Ipswich are fast becoming an irrelevance to some Norwich fans. There's not a lot of bite in a local rivalry when there's a yawning chasm between the teams.

If you are going to attempt to use big words like 'puerile', at least have the nouse to spell it correctly.

Thanks

Mine was a typo whilst watching the Liverpool game.

Yours? Probably not.

Perfect.

Eer. It means mind or intellect and can be spelt

Nous, nouse or nouses.

Perfect!

Anyway, trot along now. This is the tractor boys thread and if you haven't anything relevant to add, you can go and suck yourselves off on your own thread.

While I can accept that online dictionaries might not be 100% accurate, it's not looking good, is it?

If you can provide evidence to the contrary, I'll happily trot off and suck myself off (how did you know I can?).

Now, now calm down ladies!

How about we get back to the football eh......?

So, a safe pair of hands like Curbs or someone a bit younger and more hungry like Karl Robinson?

I fancy the latter, it worked for Barca!

Robinson for me too.

Seems to have MKD playing attractive football.

Karl Robinson would be my first choice, although I'm not sure they play particularly flowing football up there, but organised, and that's what we need.

I don't know anything about this Robinson.

Any idea if he's on 'the list'?

Apparently there's about 34 managers being considered.

Freedman has gone as Bolton have confirmed now.

I think we are gonna end up with some hideous appointment like shearer.
