This weekends result have made third an even tougher task now, especially as we've got City next, I really hope we don't capitulate like we did last season.
Yep. We still have Chelsea and City. Also have Stoke away. Spurs have an easier run in. Will be tight. ![laugh](/inc/images/laugh.gif)
Just watched some very brief highlights of the QPR game online.....f
k me out midfield were shocking for the second goal. Whoever it was that scored for QPR ran past our midfield who just stood and watched. YOu can see him run past Arteta from about 1.20 on this video

No wonder Wenger said "QPR had the edge on us at specific moments, they had that extra special commitment that you need"

It was Diakite. For some reason he was given acres of space front, back and to the sides. Nice finish, all the same (from the viewpoint of a Rangers fan).![](/inc/images/censored.gif)

its even worse from the 1.50 view on.....Arteta seems to let him jog past him and only starts to run as the wing player enters the box...
Jeez. I honestly don't understand how a professional footballer can have that little motivation to track back...even when it's clear there is danger Arteta and Song look like they're out for a jog in the park on a Sunday morning....shocking.Cheib said:

Hopefully the defeat at the weekend will serve as a kick up the arse as I think our old issue of complacency (sp?) against the smaller teams came back to bite us on saturday.
Bring on City.

Hold on... one loss and suddenly we are back to our complaining ways. Arteta was subbed a bit after that goal, maybe he just didn't have any energy left in his legs. I agree that we maybe had some complacency, but lets see how we bounce back.
If you could bounce back in a huge way against City I for one would be very greatfulBlack can man said:
Agree , I think the goons lucky winning wobble is over
been quiet on here as of late
Lets hope RVP realises he's wasting his career here & buggers off somewhere in the summer

It's always quiet here!
With RVP, as much as I'd like him to stay, I wouldn't begrudge him if he did go. Even with his injuries he's put in a good shift, and has been great for us. If he wants to go, we should let him go with the minimum of fuss.
I had the same feelings for Cesc and Clichy. Nasri? Well that was pretty dire, but oh well.

both posts above admit he has been quiet good this season. I stated I hadn't seen many games, tbf!but, its not good enough to let some one canter past you like that!
Jeeper, would get subbed on a Tuesday night with the lads if I did that!
