Do you think he will play left centre back with Reguilon/Malacia at left back until Martinez is fit? Playing at centre back will mean he's not required to run as much and will help him get his match fitness back too.

We've missed him hugely.

For a while maybe, until he appears again under another username.
The day PH and other sites demand some kind of official ID can’t come soon enough for me. It would stop the repeated nonsense and bad behaviour.

Yes I’m sure he’ll be back with a new identity posting utter nonsense very soon

Ok, I know some of his posts are repeated nonsense.
But why as he been banned.
What did he post.

ETA, of course, if it was something, that if you repeated it, would get you a ban.
Don't.
Just hint at it.
Ta.

It was a nasty comment on the thread about the poor lads that died in the car crash In Wales the other day

Not sure he’d be dropping Lindelof immediately but he does like to ease players back.

Really not looking forward to Sunday.

You would imagine Everton will be really up for it given recent events .I’d usually say it’s a good test of character but I think we know already that is something this team lacks .

Sad to say i think the toffees will come out fighting and do a job on the lacklustre reds, but i'm hope full of being proved wrong.

Fully agree with this..

Will be extra frustrating given at least 2 and a good chance 3/4 teams above us will be dropping points! Win this and that top 6/7 could be bunching up even more. And would be 5 wins from last 6 PL games?

We need to win its as simple as that as another bad result will heap the pressure on the whole team and we really dont need that. The international break has been an easing of that so fingers crossed we can push on get some players back and put ourselves back in to contention for top 5 but lets be honest we are still way off being anything like a contender not with players like Mctominay, Maguire, Evans and Antony getting a game

Interesting post.

My thoughts are the pressure is incessant on the team regardless of the result and at this stage of the season our must wins are in the champions league.

Given my line above i feel any heaping of pressure will be media based and ignored within the club. We don’t need to win but we all want to. There’s still far too much to play for in the league.

Of the 4 players you mention only Antony has disappointed significantly when he’s played and not being deliberately contrary but the likes of McT and Maguire and then someone with Evans experience is exactly what I think we need on Sunday, it’ll be a proper old school battle.

Opinions will vary but I think it’s stty and very unlucky timing this game. We’ve very fragile confidence, that can’t be denied and are catching Everton at the worst time for fking years.

Shaw in squad, as is Onana hojland a doubt.

Looks like it’s martial up top with Rashford and Antony. That’ll have Everton stting it for sure the goals in those three.

Good news that Shaw is almost back, we've missed him a lot. Someone told me Mount was injured now too? What on earth do we do to our players? Everton will be really tough whoever we have at the moment, but it seems crazy we just can't keep fit.

Any thoughts on this being a hangover from the amount of matches we played last season with a World Cup in the middle so a lot more crammed in and a lot of cup matches too. Liverpool struggled last season after playing in nearly every match possible in 21/22.

I am not sure I think Antony is as bad as others have suggested. He at least has a run at people (even if he is worryingly slow).

Gotta say that ETH has generally bought very badly. Amrabat seemed a good buy, yet he has looked extremely poor recently. I think he is one his way out - too slow for the PL.
