I see that Carlo is suggesting we were physically tired from the Spurs game, I’m not sure I buy that but I can’t believe how poor we can be at times. It was awful to watch, sideways and backwards for pretty much 90 mins, with no drive or energy on the field.
If that’s what we get for going for the cup then I will take the cup and finish 12th, but I can’t remember a worse performance than that.

I have had 32 years of disappointment, barring 1995. You would think I would be well used it now. Got my hopes up again, games in hand, 'easy' game on paper and they turn in a performance like that. You feel like a bloke who has just found out his wife is cheating on him, empty, hollow, let down and stupid.
Must be wonderful to hate sport and not have it ruin your once a week

I think we need some perspective, there’s an awful lot to put right at Everton and we have one of the best coaches in world football. It’s a strange time for all of us and the players came through a very tough two hour game a few days earlier, Doucoure looked finished. We are in the last eight of the cup with no relegation fight in prospect, top manager, wealthy owner and a new stadium taking shape. Must be wonderful to hate sport and not have it ruin your once a week
The XL sofa has arrived from DFS just in time for the City game, all are welcome though I’m in the middle.

This. We have the strongest starting 11 we've had in a long time, compare that with our best starting 11 5-10 years ago. We just need a bit of consistancy and for someone to teach Iwobi how to cross a ball properly 
I'm so not surprised about the Fulham result. Its Everton all over.
Coincidence that we get battered to the point we make Fulham look prime Barcelona the same week Carlo's house got robbed?
Anyways on a positive note the council have recommended Bramley Moore get built and a final decision is on the 23rd. Announced that after Fulham so god knows what they'll announce after the city and RS games? Maybe we've signed Messi?
