My issue is that he literally posts the same diatribe ad infinitum. Posting the same thing again and again and again is akin to Spam. Lots of people come on here on the wind up and while a little childish i'm willing to accept it because at least they're offering something new/different to read. It's easy to say just look past it and i've tried that - but if you're a regular you end up spending more time 'skimming on' then you do engaging in good football debate.

There is of course the small matter that he has been pretty much spot on with all that he has said about the players and the performances and that he at least appears to go to the games, but thats not for me to get involved in

It wasnt meant to be some sort of willy waving contest about who goes to the most games as I would have no chance then as you rightly pointed out It was more that this was chosen as a point with which to attack him then when that didnt work another tactic was used, he may not be peoples chosen mould of a Liverpool fan but he is a fan nonetheless

Fair point on scrolling down I will try and ignore the constant Raja bashing and hope that others do the same or the mods act if they dont

Name two world class players in those positions that are unhappy, and could realistically be attracted to LFC at the moment above the manc pair and Chelsea. Let alone Barca, RM, etc.

I genuinely think you might be able to get hold of some, there are some who won't want to go to City or Chelsea due to the instability at those clubs, we will only be in the market for 2 or 3 players this season and not neccesarily the same players as you, there are still some sensible players around who realise you are in a rut but you are still a sizeable club and if they were involved in bringing you out of that rut they would be Anfield heroes

For instance I think if you were to pick up someone like Junior Hoilet that could solve some of your right wing issues, allowing Henderson to play Centre (where he hasnt been bad IIRC) so one buy solves 2 issues

I know we dont traditionally buy and sell to each other but I dont think Berba would be a bad buy for you at the right price he still has a lot to offer (although I think he may end up back at Spuds)

Not bothered either way on Aquilani. It could be that AC don't want to trigger the clause because for the sake of him not coming on as sub in one game it keeps their options open, it's not necessarily that they don't want him. We'll probably let him join them for £2m or similar peanuts after him not playing that game. We REALLY should tell them to go fork themselves if they try that on though.

I think Cabaye looks the real deal and doubt he will be there

I dont think Cisse and Ba will go anywhere, Ba as he is a huge risk with his knees, Cisse just seems to be enjoying himself loads and being adulated and he only joined in Jan

2 others who I think yourselves and other may look at would be Tiote and Collocini (sp)

Would you perhaps not be well served by trying to find some World Class players who are in their twighlight years? Get them on short contracts and allow them to take some pressure off while the young uns develop

Gotta be some older chaps who would be looking for more 1st team football and the results they may give wouldnt be the whole story, the young lads being in and around them in training picking up skills and techniques would be a great bonus

I think you can mix both to a degree and the most important thing for you guys is to start winning some games

Its easy to have a pop at Liverpool for the league form as everyone expects you to be there or thereabouts especially after spending some cash

The reality is all the teams around you have improved and from winning naff all 2 cups is obviously an improvement, in actuality your season is probably a B+ showing improvement but still work to do, not the D- a lot of people seem to think
