Your having some good weeks lately HR...
Well, the last 6 weeks I've actually been using a scientific method rather than my inbuilt instinct (ie throwing darts in a dartboard!) laugh

Just a bit of fun...as per page 57 of this thread here's where you stand going into the last days forecasts hehe

Here's your stats - as said before they don't include a lot of games as they were done retrospectively and only include the Weekend games starting at matchday 6:

Strangely enough Mickk has never scored less than 2 points according to this table.

Well done Hornerider and Congrats to IM as well who now truly has the title. My bold predictions did not quite work this week.

I would not gross up for any of us except Lawro. We´ve had plenty of chance to predict and you remind us every week a few times, it´s our own fault. Lawro does not have this excuse, so I would support his grossing up.

In better news, I went to Camp Nou (The Nou camp to us Brits) and saw BCN vs Deportivo last night. It was a master class in posession football and although there were very few chances, to see BCN play live was fantastic. They were also presented with the league trophy last night and so fireworks were set off and the place went a little mad as you would expect.

Well I have been off Kenya under pirate attack so I do have a valid excuse for missing the last 6 or so weeks hehe

censored me! Mid-table mediocrity is quite an achievement with that (consistent but crap) performance!

hehe Agreed - thats quite remarkable. Maximum points scored...10!?!? You've done bloody well really. I think you are consistent though unlike (say) Racing Pete who one week can get 12, 14 or even 15 but then follow up with 2, 3 or 4 the following week.

Consistency clearly pays off. Indeed, if you were up to date with your forecasts (5 games behind at the mo) you might have been a bit higher still - possibly even 6th!!!

Patience my young padawan.

I'll publish them after the Man City v Stoke game tomorrow night.

Desperate to forecast a 'pool victory & Spuds defeat eh? Not gonna happen. biggrin

ETA: Just noticed...3 of the bottom six are Spuds yikes

Away draw, home win - in that order.

Quel surprise, Rodders. I'm sure it would be 6 out of 6 if certain other Spuds who shall remain nameless put their so-called knowledge to the test.

<cough>

yikes...there's bleedin' prize money?!?!

...and with soooo many scousers involved?

Oh, and I'm not stupid enough to think I've won yet...still 44 points to play for including tomorrow nights game. Liverpool thought 5th was theirs with only us to play at home and Villa away and we all know how that worked out for them biggrin
