Possibly - I don't think it helps matters that it's a stress-related injury - which could point to overuse/exertion.

I actually praised Klopp for resting him a few games back. Don't think it's hindsight - more Klopp has been forced to use him more than expected because how crap our midfield has been.

There are certain players that need their workload managed like Matip and Thiago otherwise they just break down. We've been forced to overuse those two aswell.

Reality is all our players have had injuries this season - the issue seems to lay with the medical and fitness teams.

That said, I can easily see us losing by at least 3 goals.

Would be nice to get a consolation win, 2:1 would make the aggregate scoreline look reasonable.

It's a shame because at 2 goals down there's a chance, at 3 the way we are now and in Madrid it's game over.

Klopp was being very optimistic when he gave us a 1% chance.

Yeah I think there will be some changes there over the summer.

I don't think Bajcetic has been played a "lot" (compared to say, Owen when he was coming through - and ended up with injury after injury). I was reading an FFT article about Bellingham last night - he doesn't seem to suffer from injuries much despite seemingly being played quite a bit.
