I don't think two up top worked. We looked a lot better after the subs came on.

Overall happy with a point, at the start of the second half I feared the worst hehe

Was just saying to me dad earlier that it feels odd to be enjoying SAFC and being hopeful about the future of the club.

Been a while since anyone posted so...

Good win today. Haven't seen the sending off.

Ticking along nicely with the usual couple of hicups (what on earth happened at Portsmouth banghead)

None of the top 4 are slipping up.

Well, none footballing bump here. RIP to a bit of a local legend and massive Sunderland fan Mensi, lead singer of the Angelic Upstarts, at 65 to Covid.

Take no notice of the Big Yin, if you click on the link, they're from South Shields and nowt to do with Newcastle, Mensi would've levelled him biggrin

Sunderland are closing in on Man City winger Patrick Roberts with the attacker set to cut short his loan deal at French club Troyes. #SAFC #MCFC #Troyes

Sadly general sale as haven't been able to get to enough games this year (6,when 10 needed) for various reasons. Hotels are all free cancellation though, so nothing to lose in trying to get tickets! Hoping to take my dad... He was there in 73 so hoping he might be good luck!

I feel your pain. I live in Germany now but was a season ticket sufferer until I left the UK. I flew to London and looked for touts outside Wembley in 2014, without an success. It was still a great weekend out though.

My parent's next door neighbour played in 73. There are some great pictures of the FA Cup in my parent's living room, sadly I wasn't born for another 4 years so missed the event.

I grew up in Germany so feel your pain (well, seen it in my dad when he was trying to get tickets!) - we managed to go in 90 though, and he made it to the 85 final (said I was too young lol)! Been a bit luckier since 2014 with either dad or myself getting to all appearances there (no he didn't go in 14, I did, hence the loss wink)

Can only imagine how immense some of those pictures must be, definite keepers!

Looks like I've got lucky for tickets now though, got two "definites" but will wait until I have the tickets in my hand (well, inbox) before smiling!!

Great performance. Patterson MOTM for me.

Loads to do before next season. The loan signings need to be sorted and hopefully the likes of Dion Sanderson might return.
I'd like to see Patrick Roberts stay - not sure what the deal is with him.

Finally I still hate the playoffs.
