The Official 2010/11 Premier League Predictathon Thread!!!
Discussion
Here's the table after tonights Man City v Stoke match and heading into the last matchday of the season:
Having thought about it and taken TJK's expressed opinion into account I've decided to gross up everyone's points at the season-end and here's why:
1. Whilst some have most certainly just been slack some have had genuine reason not to forecast and have explained in advance why - ArtVandelay for example. He shouldn't be penalised. If I do it for him and Lawro I would then have to discriminate against other individuals and I don't want to create bad feeling.
2. I don't think it's actually going to make much difference to the table - I've tested it on a couple (but not all) of those who are behind with their forecasts and only Art moved up but as I said, he has a good reason. That may change when I re-run the grossing up calcs after this weekend but not significantly.
3. It'll make the table look cool and frankly I'm shallow and heavily into "looks".
I hope you've had as much fun playing the game this season as I've had and that you'll all have another go next season - if only to try and break up the top 4
Right then - on with the show and your final predictions please gentlemen for MATCHDAY 38
TJK: To give you a fair shot I'll publish 1st if you like on Thursday - then you can go for broke with some seriously alternative forecasts.

My apologies mate, I thought it was just a predictions thread, I didn't realise you all run a league for them. I'll do it properly starting next season There's coming to the party late and then there's coming as everybody's leaving my friend...

No need to apologise chap. Keep an eye out about a week before next season starts for a new thread for season 2011/12.E31Shrew said:

My Grandad used to sit me on his knee and tell about 're-election' E31...and that was 40 years ago!
With your experience you ought to be royally kicking our arses in this forecasting business.
