Man Utd v Blackpool 2-0
Spurs v Birmingham 3-0
Stoke v Wigan 1-0
Wolves v Blackburn 1-0
I would take those results now. Blackpool, Birmingham and Wigan would all stay on 39pts and have goal difference of -23, so Blackpool would stay up having scored more goals (53) compared to Wigan (39) and Birmingham (36).Man Utd v Blackpool 2-0
Spurs v Birmingham 3-0
Stoke v Wigan 1-0
Wolves v Blackburn 1-0

Racing Pete who one week can get 12, 14 or even 15 but then follow up with 2, 3 or 4 the following week.
You would think that it was just pure luck to be that randomly good and bad.... little do you all know!!!Thanks IM for the hard work, has been good fun despite my ever belief of being able to make a last minute surge up the table.

You know, theoretically you can still escape the relegation zone Pete...Thanks IM for the hard work, has been good fun despite my ever belief of being able to make a last minute surge up the table.
Let me also add my Thanks to IM for following up on Dan1981´s good start. I know it takes a lot of time to make this thread happen and it´s livened up my Saturdays with looking for all the results and not just the Southampton wins to take us up to the championship.
Looks like the best man will win the league and congratulations, it´s been a long, fun and banter filled journey.
Now, you said that you would post first on Thursday and thats not happened, the points indiscretion last week , standards are slipping in the last 2 weeks
Thanks for all the banter to everyone else, I´ve not been on here as much as I would have liked, but it´s been a good season and we´ll be back for more

<cough> Look above your post Jiffle OK, OK I know, it was Wednesday and not Thursday but I figured I'd give you some 'study' time my friend. You can still overtake me...just as HR can still overtake you. In fact HR can overtake me but at that point I'd be looking for some strong rope and bridge to hurl myself off
AV12 & Legend can still pip Lawro actually.
Indeed, with 40 points to play for it only takes someone to have a blinding week of say 17 or 18 points and they can possibly change their league position drastically. It happened to me back on Matchday 35.
Anyway - I'm looking to do the double here (World Cup & League) so get posting yer forecasts so I can see if I need to worry or not
