Really need an Arsenal clean sheet as I have 2 of their defenders, Saka scoring some points won't do much as lots of people have him.
I mean this is essentially the problem right. Most of the competitive points teams have 80% the same players. Doing something different is a risk - but not doing anything different means you can't win... Infuriating at times. Estupian, Saka, Haaland, Salah, Mitoma etc are in pretty much every team.

48 - so not a disaster. Bruno to be moved out is the main change.
Need to check who is playing Wolves ...
Bruno is massively underperforming against his xG so that will swing back the other way at some point. They have Forest up next so I'm holding Bruno and Rashford for that to see what happens.Need to check who is playing Wolves ...

Rashford >>> Maddison is going to be the next major swap for everyone!
Man Utd have finally started a game with Rashford on the left and he's already got an attacking return. Who knew?Edited by 48k on Saturday 26th August 21:06

I'm quite demoralised with the way things have started for me this season, but I'm trying to stay positive, and hopefully things will improve as the weeks go on though.
My team looks ok on paper, but in reality it just isn't delivering annoyingly though.
Are you using any tools or consuming any content to help you with your team?My team looks ok on paper, but in reality it just isn't delivering annoyingly though.
Fantasy Football Hub is a great resource for analysing players, fixtures and transfers.

In terms of content creators, my three main go-tos are:
Andy / Lets Talk FPL - https://www.youtube.com/@LetsTalkFPL
Ross / FPL Raptor - https://www.youtube.com/@FPLRaptor
Dan / FPL Mate - https://www.youtube.com/@FPLMate
All three are regular 5-figure or better finishers, so they know their onions.
You can absolutely get analysis paralysis with this game, but if you want to step up from just being a casual player or simply want to get some different perspectives I highly recommend checking out the above.
Son had started the season carrying on his poor form from last season, not helped by playing wide on the left in the new system under Big Ange. Left winger is not his natural position, and he was getting the ball in to feet too much and being too static.
Today he played more central, was running in to spaces, getting the ball infront and that's the result.
One to keep an eye on after the international break to see if Big Ange persists with playing him that way.

Did Son have an assist upgraded to a goal today or was I imagining things?
You must be imagining it. Three well taken goals by him. First was the little dink on the 6 yard box.
Second was the right foot pass in to the net from just to the left of the penalty spot.
Third was latching on to a sweeping forward pass and a left foot low drive in to the net.

Some sick bd will have Haaland, Son and Ferguson.
And one of them will be Triple Captained. Happy to finish the weekend with 79 and a lot of green arrows.
Wish I'd have gone with my hunch to captain Son, but Haaland vs Wolves was a safe bet.
Spurs have a decent run after the international break whilst City have some tough fixtures, so Haaland might not be such a shoe-in for my captains armband.

Wilcard active - what an awful start to this bloody season!
46 points so far this round with the Luton game to come (I have Morris up front). So *just* keeping my head above average.2.9M overall position. I'm considering a wildcard too but worried about pulling the trigger before the international break.

I have had to do it as I cannot limp along with Bruno, Rashford and Pickford alone have been the worst picks in my team who i have stayed loyal to since week 1. Being a Manchester United fan bias definitely played its role in the first two and now I have seen enough lol
I have the same three players, they definitely haven't worked out as hoped.Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
