I notice Pilks seems to be in an out of the side. What is the reason for that? Is it still to do with easing him in after that awful awful injury

He is yet to score a worldy for you but it won't be long. Some of his goals for us were ridiculous
Yeah, i've seen a few of them, I like that he can hit it well with both feet.

I think its more to do with a rotation basis. We've really excelled this season, virtually every single player in the squad has stepped up. We have 3 formations really that the players are comfortable with, 451, 41212 and 4132, so sometimes, theres not always room for all opf our attacking players. I've been quite impressed with him, I don't think he's showing any ill effects of his injury. We don't have any superstars as such, everyone is at a similar level for us so, Lambert likes to keep things fresh and keep the opposition on their toes, seems to be working at the moment.

GUTTED

According to the Daily Mail we offered him £1million a year, crazy money but shows how desperate Hoyle is for promotion. I think he saw Leeds as more a challenge, whereas it should be a piece of piss to get this Town side out of league one with the backing our chairman provides.

DiMatteo now for me clap

He scored a rather nice free kick against Villa.. I'd say that was classed as one of his worldys! He is one of my favourite City players, I feel better when we play with width, so him and Bennett are vital. Snodgrass next please smile

P.S. Sorry, thread hijack!

Another Yella here and really surprised to read the comments about LC, when he was at Norwich he suffered under the hideous spectre of the utterly hapless and hopeless Glen Rodent but I really thought he was doing a good job.

A few years ago when were away to Plymouth we happened to be staying in the same hotel as the team and ended up sharing a very enjoyable hour with LC over a nightcap, he was charming, affable and seemingly deeply knowledgeable about the game.

Truth be told I had always thought him as an ideal replacement for The Anointed One when he finally moves on but I’d always bow to the knowledge of those better qualified to peak. Certainly we have had our own fill of long ball up to Alan Lee, it got us into Division 1 in the first place.

Pilks, as previously mentioned a huge talent but I suspect he may be struggling a bit with his fitness as he doesn’t seem that comfortable playing ninety minutes every weekend in the Prem, nice lad as he took time to sign my lads autograph book this weekend and be assured not all of them will do so.

Anyway good luck for the rest of the season, always one our preferred away destinations.
