A high pressing style and only forward passing means lots of players dropped.

Martial and Ronaldo won’t do the running. Fred isn’t technically good enough to play that style. I’m not sure McT is either, but he might just about cope.

Maybe some of them will get some coaching to improve them as players and also some tactics so they understand their place in the team and the overall aim. At the moment it looks like some of them don’t even know that scoring goals is the main aim of football and the dedes don’t know that their job is to stop the opposition scoring.

Fred’s interceptions delivered both our goals on Tuesday.

It will be interesting to see which players adapt to his methods and which will be out the door. Donny and Sancho are going to excel massively imo

Agreed, and I can't see Pogba fitting in with that style, and ignoring all the shenanigans surrounding his contract being almost up anyway, I can see him being one of the first out the door.

Good riddance I say ..what a lumbering ponderous crock of …. One or two Hollywood passes every 10 games and umpteen losses of possession…pretty much sums him up.

As was said before I don’t think we have got the desire, fitness or personnel to do the press…happy to be proved wrong so hopefully this Ragnarok fella is a teutonic tactician.

I wouldn’t worry, pretty much everything that exists, or has ever existed in football has a Dutch trademark stamped on it according to him.

I can’t imagine for one second that Pogba fits in to his style of play. He’s far too lazy in both mind and body to do it for 90 minutes. Can’t imagine that Rangnick is the type of guy who will put up with the st from his agent either.

Meanwhile Real a.o. things won 13 CL titles.

There is no chance they will be expecting United to suddenly implement this high press game which he is so famous for.

I expect that he will have enough time to implement a game plan, strategy and get us winning games and playing to the squads strengths.

I’m more interested what happens after this season and how he will work with the new manager.

work with the new manager??? I thought it was a given that once he wins half a dozen he gets awarded the position on a permanent basis. Surely our head-honchos can’t have learned all the lessons at once?

Well this is what's interesting apparently he doesn't really like management, he likes to shape the whole club, analytics, statistics, strategies are apparently what gets him going

It should be noted this is very much a Murtough and Fletcher decision, their first big one really

It's been mooted that his 2 year stint is far more important/beneficial to us than the manager role

Apparently he was offered the Chelsea job previously, but only took the United job on the promise of the role after the season. I’m hoping he become DoF.
