more than ever I am convinced a two tier european championships / world cup is needed. I'm all for inclusivity but not for the sake of it, its devaluing the competition.
I think we need 3 tiers, you're forgetting the Scots.

On the Spuds thread there were slating Cahill a couple of weeks back, saying what a poor player he was. Well he's a million times better than Walker, who doesn't even resemble a professional footballer. Shocking performance from him.
Jesus ! laugh
Walker is an attacking RB, if you want to play it defensively or tight you don't play walker...if you need to push forward you do.

Horses for courses and Roy's opted for an attacking line up.

That's like saying that im is a more interesting poster than Mickk. It's all relative.
On an unrelated note, which is worse, cancer or AIDS? (The bad one)
When compared to the appearance of Ebola neither.

You have to give Hodgson some credit for not parking the bus.

Win?

We weren't exactly a threat in front of goal.
Given we didnt have rooney, sturridge or Welbeck thats hardly a suprise is it?

They should all be back for our last two home games.
He could have thrown on Defoe for the last 15 minutes....at least he'd have had a shot or two.

Why? a draw was a good result, why risk anything, a world cup is at stake here we lose last night then its lights out.

+ defoe?? really?? youre a tottenham fan you know how st he is.
But at least he'd have had a pop at goal...and if you don't buy a raffle ticket you won't win the raffle and all night long we didn't buy a ticket.

Just watching the Saints on TV against the Hammers and it's not until you see Englands (recent) main striker in a Southampton shirt that you realise just how deep a st the national team is in.

Because only selecting England players from top 4 teams is a tactic that has worked superbly in the past ..
Who said they must come from a top 4 club? rolleyes

Point is that he's 'ordinary' even in Southampton shirt but that we are so strapped for talent that we are having to draw from the pool of 'ordinary' players who play for mid-table (or worse) clubs.

For Spurs Townsend always cuts inside and shoots but strangely he's not doing it here, he seems to prefer to try and find Sturridge every time even when he should be shooting confused

We've sold 18,000 tickets to Poland fans...WTF is the thinking behind that?!?!

It's not like we couldn't sell them to English fans FFS. It could almost turn this into a home game for the Poles if they're loud enough.

Jeez...the FA really are a bunch of useless cretins.
