I would put cole on the left wing, milner in the centre and play gerrard off rooney. That way it won't matter so much if gerrard and lampard go forward together, in fact, it would be a good thing.

Johnson the weak link IMO, fervently hope Milner produces, I have my doubts he's world class, hopeefully see Joe Cole after the break when we're 0-1
