On a side-note, by any remote chance will you be coming to our game on the 9th of December?

I will be,

It's too early so say but I think I'll be able to excuse myself from family duties so a quick pint could be on the cards,

I know we were south of Colliers Wood but plan to get into the city earlier.

I'll DM you if you want closer to the time smile

Oh and you can repost that image from your mate .... I did laugh based on my previous postings hehe

We're at home today against Doncaster. I can't see us getting a point from the game, so probably just as well that I have to leave a few minutes earlier, so won't have to suffer the final whistle.

But on a lighter note, our FA Cup game against Ramsgate will be shown live on ITV4 on the Monday night (4th, 7:45 KO). So that will add a few £££ to the badly needed coffers and even more so if we get the win (£60k).

I rarely gloat at a Colchester win , only a matter of time before the next humiliating defeat .

Today ,home to Sutton , I have local loyalty there as although born in Essex ,I have lived 53 of my years local to Sutton .

Tranmere have done the country a favour today. Giving that small village pub team and ther horrible Vegan loving Just Stop Oil supporting chairman a good kicking.

Rotherham sack Taylor

Exeter sack Caldwell.

Taylor comes back to St James's where he belongs.

Remember where you heard it first.

I was ready with a cheap bottle of Prosecco to celebrate a 1-0 drubbing of Sutton but Colchester's defence don't get paid overtime and folded in the 95th minute to an equalizer . irked

Genuinely hope that third one doesn’t happen.

Not sure if I would be happy with it either but Caldwell has to go now surely.

As I'm an exile fan you probably have slightly better insight on this, are fans at the ground getting restless?

I’d take coco the clown over Caldwell at the moment. The results can’t be any worse.

I was there, all four officials were a joke, doesn’t excuse throwing things at the lino but he flagged for a penalty that never was, gifted the home team the win. Notts were the better team but couldn’t put the ball in the crack of the net. That’s football.

What was also a joke was the policing, it was kicking off at one end of the ground, 2 bobbies were there, they call for reinforcements, another dozen turn up, walk past were it was kicking off and all stand on the centre line, after a few minutes one of the stewards point out to them where the trouble is. Clueless fkwits.

I thought the standard of refereeing was st in the National league, league 2 is just as st.

Agree with you there absolutely dreadful officials. Ours today missed the most blatant handball in the area ever didn’t give the penalty! For once I was thankful for rubbish officials. (Wrexham v Gillingham)

I'm glad it's not just us today, then!

We had 7 yellows ..... 5 of which in the first half; 4 of which were the softest, and in another 99 games would result in nothing except "play on".

2 in the 2nd half, resulting in 2 of our players being sent off for 2nd yellows; so we finished with 9.

It was genuinely appauling reffing and very 1-sided. When we got a free kick we all cheered; it was that obvious!

Not seen such horrific reffing since 3 seasons ago.

The trouble was that the linesman was poor, couldn’t keep up and was making the wrong calls so was given a load of abuse by the fans, I think he gave the penalty as a fk you to the Notts fans who were giving him st. He acted like a baby and it was him who incited the trouble.

Ridiculously not at the moment - all I can say on that is thank goodness we’ve got next weekend off. But yes, sadly, I think he does have to go, but I wouldn’t want Taylor back - constantly complaining about how hard L1 is then jumping ship at the first opportunity? He’s not the one to lead us out of this slump.
