What a fantastic game, I applauded when Cheltenham scored, it made me laugh, like Stuart it would not have bothered me to much if they had won.
In my opinion for long stretches only one city player seemed to want to win, of course it was Foden.

I think you come to expect this from these games. I know a couple of my mates had money on Cheltenham to win .... all but one cashed out! laughsleeplaugh

It’s only half time but I don’t think I’m being cocky in saying that’s us on topfor at least 24 hours

The lineswoman with the offside flag at the second goal. She caused the WBA players to stop.

Yes they should have played to the whistle, but linesmen are only supposed to flag if they are 100% sure.

Just been looking at the recent / upcoming fixtures for Man City. You couldn’t pick a better run of 8 games. It’s no wonder they’re doing so well at the moment. Things might even out when this period is over.

First up: Birmingham, Brighton, Palace & Villa ALL at home.
Then: Cheltenham & West Brom easy away games
Finishing off with: Sheffield Utd at home and Burnley away.

How do you know she wasn't 100% sure? She got it wrong, but she may well have been certain she was right.

Anyway, 6-0 so she won't lose much sleep over it.

She was certainly wrong.

She got away with one in another recent game. It was a tiny fraction in it, but she was lucky her call was right. It was more luck than judgement and like tonight she made another tight call and got it wrong. She shouldn't be making these close calls as she is going to get them wrong. That's what VAR is for.

She knew she made a mistake and she will feel bad for it even though Man City went on and scored a few more goals after it.

To also be fair she's an extremely brave lady being a match official in the 'male bear pit' of the Premier League. She is under intense pressure knowing that every decision she makes will attract a bit more interest than if a male had made it. She's well aware that she's the whipping girl for womankind.

Back where we rightfully belong. Last season was a blip in the dynasty. Pep is putting all these other pretenders to shame.
