I think they should just shake hands, make firends and get on with things whistle
Of course they should, and as his agent proved with a picture, some of Suarez's best friends are black...

Accused? Why did Suarez not play for 8 games, and why?
Accused or found guilty i am with the accused regardless. So utterly fed up with all this racism garbage. "Ooooh sob sob mommy he said a mean thing to me sob sob make him stop mommy" Sooo fking tired of it.

Its words thats all it is. He didnt pull out a whip and beat him mercilessly. He didnt shoot him. He didnt stone him. He apparently merely called him a name. Whoopdie doo!!!

Anyone who goes running around whining that someone called them names is pathetic and deserves no sympathy. Man up or fk off.

People have called me names and said nasty things to me my whole life. Have i gone running to my mommy and daddy every time? No
When people have tried to bully me have i run to mommy and daddy all the time? No.

I deal with it and act like an adult and the bigger man and walk away and dont give it a second thought.

Then we have taxpayers money and police and court time being wasted on prosecuting another footballer for calling someone names. I mean what a fking joke. can't believe this is what my tax money is wasted on. I would rather they give it to pensioners or use it to prosecute and lock up real criminals.

I take it you're going to use this post as an application to the Daily Mail for a regular column?

This thread has taken a really depressing turn, no need for people to get quite so personal, but there are some scary opinions out there. This isn't about 'name calling' it's about racist abuse, is it really being suggested that if someone is racially abused they should 'man up' and get on with it?

no its not. its words that are spoken with the sole intention of making someone feel inferior to you because their skin is a darker colour than yours.

Words which are about maintaining a status quo because you feel threatened, words which are now a desperate, laughable attempt to re-assert a position of authority over a perceived weaker race who are in fact your equal, words you use when you no longer have the colour of your skin as a shield to hide your frailties, thats all it is.

Until you have been a victim, you can not understand how these words can make you feel. We can not choose our skin colour so we should not be judged and made to feel inferior because of it.

i really think you need to re-read your post and think about your comments.

Why not?
Thats what happened when Sean Fitzpatrick ( All Black Captain) racially abused an England Player.
Allegedly, of course.

Yes it is. Making an issue out of race in this day and age is stupid. There is no more slavery. There is no more apartheid. There is no one bus for them one bus for us etc.

We are all equals. Someone calls someone else a name related to their race tough st ignore it. Life goes on. Make an issue out of it and it then becomes about race rather than ignorance, stupidity and personal opinion.

Wasting police time and money on someone calling someone else names is also plain wrong and stupid.

Everyone these days seems hell bent on being hyper sensitive about everything. Race sex religion and so on. People need to grow up. People will always have their own personal opinions. People may choose to insult you using words related your race sex or otherwise but all they are is words.

You can no longer call a black board a black board because it may offend blacks.

You cant call someone by the n word as you are immediately a racist but someone black calling someone else the n word isnt so on and so forth.

Big deal. Someone calls me fat or stupid to make me feel bad about myself do you think i should give a st? Should i report them to the police for saying something mean? Or maybe i should beat seven shades of st out of them to teach them a lesson?

Or I could accept that they are so pathetic that they think calling me names changes anything.
Maybe at some point in your life you should stop seeing yourself as a victim as all you do is make yourself a victim.

You make an issue out of your race when someone tries to demean you over your skin colour you give them exactly what they want and make them feel they were right.

Out of curiosity pablo you say till you have experienced it? Have you? Why does it offend you?

Do you have to use different public transport to anyone else from day to day? Have you ever been someones "property"?

My guess pablo is no. You haven't personally experienced any of what your forefathers did or may have done. So why get offended by mere words that bear no relation to you or the life you now lead.

This thread doesn't seem to be about Suarez and Evra anymore. Unless it takes an unexpected turn back in that direction I think it's time to call it a day.

Maybe, maybe not, but the fact remains that calling you a fat stupid narrow minded (see what I did there?) isn't illegal.

Using someone's race in a derogatory way is.

I can't work out if you are a troll or if you really are that thick?
