is it true that a lot of season ticket holders have been sent letters telling them to sit down or face having their season tickets taken away ?

I'd imagine so, apparently the club has band 8 people.

WTF? Never thought I'd ever see those words written. Utterly disgusting behaviour in any context and to do that to someone who has done so much for our club is well, I don't have the words really.

This and the stories about the infighting makes me ashamed to be a Hammer. Don't think I'll be going to the OS any time soon.

Whilst I'm not condoning any bad behaviour, I'm not really sure what the club expected to happen. My old ST was in the Chicken Run and you wouldn't get anyone sitting for the entire match, how they thought they were just gonna sit down at the OS is beyond me.

If the reports of spitting on Brady are true then that is truly fking vile. Even for some of our fans that would be a spectacular new low.

Apparently, they tried to leave the Watford game before the final whistle.

Enjoyed the game, hated the Olympic Park.
Terrible thing jealousy.
Jealous that'll be it.

Jealous of a club that's sold the ancestral home to go in the footballing equivalent of social housing. You must be right, yep you've found me out.

The 'ancestral home' as you call it was too small and in the wrong place. Our new stadium is magnificent IMO, we are moving forward.

Maybe so (not sure about the magnificent bit), but I don't think you can call an Arsenal fan jealous of West Ham at the moment. And that's coming from a Spurs fan hehe

There's no doubt that it's a magnificent stadium. I was lucky enough to catch a day of Olympic athletics there. However, it is not and never will be a football stadium. The crowd are so far away from the pitch and the banking is far too shallow.

Didn't hear the Brady stuff but I did hear an ex senior (28yr) Upton Park steward and season ticket holder say that the current stewarding / stewards do not include the 300 or so ex Upton Park Stewards.

A small fight just so happened to be kicking off near him and, according to him, sending in 20 or so stewards (some doing no more than filming on their phones) only served to make things worse.

He sounded very disappointed that he was no longer stewarding Hammers matches but was hopeful that he and the other ex stewards might be contacted.

AIUI the deal is for the Stadium owners to sort security, hence nobody who was involved in security at UP has any involvement at the OS & the company that's doing it has no football experience. Stupid decision but that's the way it is at the moment.

Re leaving no one tried to stop me leaving early on Sat.

Spoke to a Watford fan on the way out - surprisingly the away end was emptying directly into the home fans - that'll be carnage when we play certain teams, as will the merging back to the rail station - presumably this will be resolved by away fans being held back at the end in future.

Suspect that we'll see some changes at the S'hmpton game; presumably that'll involve more people in coloured jackets shouting & waving placards about though.

Re the Brady incident hopefully it'll be a life ban for those s (spitters not KB).

I know one of our pissed up Neanderthals (no doubt on a freebee as it was in the corporate box)physically threatened Brady by offering her out for a fight, believe it or not.

rofl

Wow, he's hard! Shame Brady's mum wasn't around, or he could have offered her out too!

I really don't understand what happens to some people's brains when they go to football. They seem to turn to mush as they go thru the turnstile. No club is immune from these s.
