Are you sure about that? You’re a team that goes behind then seems to play differently and scrape a win Nothing about your recent comeback wins says that you’re any good.

Do you trust your players? They seem to follow orders, go behind then start playing as a team. Herrera was a joke today. Did Martial touch the ball in the first half? If that’s the limit of your ambition then good for you, but you look like a team that’s hoping not to lose too badly and punching well above its weight.

Just being realistic. We’re 8th behind some average sides. We have a negative goal difference. Cannot hide from those facts.

It’s over. Good luck to the rest in stopping them.

I don't think anyone will, Fair play to the Scousers though, they still think they can stop them.

It's certainly city's to throw away. Can they do anything in the CL though? Certainly playing well enough at present.
We are no better or worse off than at the start of the season when all utd fans were hoping for perhaps a towering CB or a Hazard type attacking player (If another is out there).

Second half at times city looked edgy but always dangerous. We at least gave it a go. No shame in defeat today.

Rubbish. You’re at least 12 points worse off. If your manager can’t make two of his defensive signings work then why should he get another one?

United are a poor side and certainly not improving. What happened to the team that just shut a game down once they went 3-0 up? What about the team that in a tough match that we’re only winning it by one goal decided to pass the ball around for 10 minutes and destroy the oppositions spirit?

Match their spirit and you’ll win because you’re better footballers? Neither the spirit nor the footballers to deliver that

Did United have a single shot on target all game?

Serious question.

They scored, so I would say that yes they did.

How the fk does one of our players score a goal without having a shot on target? Serious question.

I never said anything about points. I said clearly we are no better or worse off as a team, we got a couple of players one of whom is a longer term right back. we haven't improved in certain positions and Jose wasn't backed with what we believed he wanted. Don't worry yourself though, its neither here or there, as I said we've improved recently in spirit and come back against other good teams, as seen midweek.

Unfortunately when playing city it appears no one at present is capable of stopping them , such as when they can string together unlimited passes like the 3rd goal.

There will be a lot of other teams succumb and much worse than today, and utd will continue to confound all the haters by picking up big wins plus losing as and when lol.

ignoring for a minute the non utd fans pissing about as usual like vultures, one for the Utd fans- pogba injury- would he realistically have made much difference ? Martial appears confident still and got his 5th in 5, but we just don't look sharp or dangerous. Matic looked slower than normal also. Just too much of a bridge to cross at present given the two teams?

No. The game would have passed him by. The parts he might have contributed to would have been cancelled out by his lack of effort.

The style of play has to change. There were numerous times rashford was asking for support and players to move up. Tactics and the fact that we are st defensively stopped us doing that. And without that, we’re having to wait for our chance at the end of games.
