The Official England Thread-The Team We All Support [Vol 3]
Discussion
I think England did the job to be honest, Bulgaria are not a good side but they packed the team with a 5-4-1 with the 1 more often than not sitting back in the midfield it was heavily congested. I would argue Henderson should have come off at half time and a more creative player brought in but otherwise a professional job done against a team playing ridiculously deep so making any pretty football nigh on impossible - we stuck them away whilst 'pretty' teams like Spain struggled past Romania and Italy relied on two late goals for a win against 10 man Armenia - nothing is a given nowadays.
I actually think Kosovo will be a tougher test, but also a test where we can exploit a bit more space in the attacking third as I don't expect them to sit back as much as Bulgaria did.

I think it’s a bit of a shame about the “injured player” goal because they seem to have lost their concentration since then. It will be interesting to see how the second half goes now their manager is in the stands.
I think they lost their concentration earlier and then started to pull themselves together.BUT they stopped playing. Their goals let the ball go by???
