I'm much more black than green. But I bow to your greater knowledge of non league football than me. wink

Was offered a ticket for Tranmere v Swindle Town (30 plus years ago and I'm still not letting that go) but given I'm on a day shift today and the likelihood of getting a swap with less than 24hrs notice was somewhere between no chance and fk all chance, I'll have to keep an eye on BBC Sport website. To T6 Vanman any score predictions?
In your shoe's .... I'd be pulling a sickie and getting to Prenton Park ... It'd be a nice set up to x-mas for you

Score prediction ... A comfortable 3 goal margin weeping
You got the three goals bit right at least, we gave you hope at first. The thing that kills you.

Also I might add the only league team on Merseyside to win yesterday. Oh dear to our "them" over the river. biglaugh

Well that was a total waste of an afternoon. At home to neighbours, whipping bouts and bottom of the table Sutton.

So considering all of that and our recent form, 3 points were more or less in the bag.

Except that our lads were still at home partying or recovering; or somewhere, but not at the game. Worst performance I've seen in a long time!

Thanks to us, they're not now bottom of the table.

Meh.

You could have done with Sutton keeping Matt Gray for a little longer...

I was at Newport v "Troy Deeney's Forest Greenies" today. Green cruising at 2-0 at half time before FGR's Callum Jones gets a silly second yellow. Three goals in eight minutes follow and a late fourth condemns FGR to bottom spot again.

My lad went to Bristol Rovers v Portsmouth today, another cracking match. 2-1 to the Gas with a 90+4 winner in the John Marquis derby.

I'll go along with that. A 5-3 home win for us. Which will be desperately needed as we're losing our best player for a few weeks, so can see a stream of losses ahead sadly.

Although we're 7th at the moment, the bigger priority is that we're 3 points from safety.

yikes Holy crap we managed a draw against Portsmouth! yikes

Must have had all our players standing on the Exeter goal line for 90 minutes.

You picked a good time to play us, we've been off the boil for a few games now.
All teams have barren spells, we've just got to hope it's only a temporary blip and we can get going again in the New Year.

Barren spell? Have a word mate, you have no idea what a barren spell is - come back when you’re half as sh*te as we are and then we’ll talk about barren spells.

I'm not optimistic of Colchester's survival chances ,they are leading the games lost table , 3 points from last 4 games .
I thought for 5 minutes about going to Wimbledon the other day but the train ticket website was a mess and gave up before even thinking about a match ticket .
At least it wasn't a boring match with 8 goals ,just too many against being a problem .

Walking back to Haydons road station at 10pm didn't fill me with delight either .

Also Sutton are my second team ,having lived in the area for 53 of my years , after being born in Essex.
They could be returning to National league too if Forest Green get their act together .
