Well done Jiffle - what an outstanding last day you had! Fantastic! Nipped in right at the death to nick it, wow!![clap](/inc/images/clap.gif)
Nascarrules: Bad luck fella - you had a really great run though and were still ahead at half-time today. Still, you provided great competition as did JwVw.
Everyone else: Thanks for a really brilliant season of forecasting fun, its been tremendous - I'll miss it.
Oxford Drinker: I've already said it by e-mail but you did a superb job for the 2nd season in a row. I know how much hard work it takes to run this and how many hours it eats up so you have my gratitude fella.
I'll sign off now, good luck chaps![byebye](/inc/images/byebye.gif)

A massive thanks to OD without you there would be no "Thon".
Well done Jiffle terrific performance today, without im I can see you easily retaining your title next year.
Im, you'll me a big miss on here if there's another football forum that you're on then a pm from BCM or Mickk to the whereabouts of that forum would be apprieciated.

Well here it is, the final table for 2013-2014. A stonking final day haul of 19 points won the game for TheJiffleKing - congratulations, and to all those who did well; commiserations to those that did not!
Thanks to all those who played and contributed to the good spirit and banter on the thread; thanks too for your timely (mostly) predictions, and a special mention to those who played 'til the bitter end, despite languishing in the lower reaches of the table.
Hopefully somebody will step forward to run the Predictathon next year. I can provide the spreadsheet and will offer what advice I can.

There's still one trophy to fight for - the FA Cup Final this weekend. So two of you still have some predicting to do!
Our final is
Devilstreak v London424
so please could you PM your predictions for the score after normal time (ie, 90mins + stoppages, but not extra time, so a draw is a possibility) by midnight on Friday please
Arsenal v Hull City
please note: should there be a tie, the winner will be determined by countback, which means London424 currently has the advantage

Comiserations to Nascarrules, im and JWVW as it's been a very close season and it could have gone to anyone at the end of the day.
Great to see Fulham, Saints Newcastle being represented in the top few.... and what happened to Man Utd fans?
Role of honour
2009/10 - The Jiffle King
2010/11 - im
2011/12 - The Jiffle King
2012/13 - MickK
2013/14 - The Jiffle King
Going by this, its not my year next time and the competition has really got stronger as the scores seem very high this year across the board
I know that im was going to step into the breach and it would be great if PH allowed him to still be a part of this as he set up the spreadsheet and ran it for some time..... Thoughts on a postcard, but if you have an opinion on it, make it heard.
Good luck to those in the cup final.... I'd go for 6-3 myself![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

Congratulations to London424 for correctly predicting the draw in the cup final thereby lifting the prestigious PH FA Cup trophy; sorry I missed your open top bus tour yesterday.
Our role of honour for this season is
PH Predictathon Premier League Champion: The Jiffle King
PH Predictathon FA Cup Winner: London424
Thanks everyone for playing this season. Hopefully somebody will take on the challenge of running this next year so the PH Predictathon can resume again in August.
