You think they’ll be stopping on the hard shoulder every five minutes for a ruck or something?
A Deadpool FC supporting football team mate is checking the kickoff time as he thought it odd that those pair of supporters would be that close without PC Plod having a say.Skodapondy said:

Looks like Reading game will be off. Pitch invasion and sit-in has been ongoing for pretty much the first 45 minutes. Meanwhile Sky Sports have been reporting it as a few tennis balls on the pitch.
I was at the game - been a season ticket holder for about 15+ years. For anyone not sure what's happening here:
- The owner is Dai Yongge
- He previously owned two clubs; one in China and one in Belgium - both are now out of business and collapsed
- He tried to buy Hull City when they were in the Premier League but was deemed as an unfit owner and blocked
- He instead bought Reading and the EFL signed this off
- We have had 16 points deduction (hence why protests centre on the 16th minute)
- We have been relegated and now sit bottom of the league, likely to be relegated again
- For around 2 seasons we have been unable to purchase any players - only free signings
- We have 3 upcoming transfer windows where we are also unable to sign players due to sanctions (except free or loans)
- Four players in the first team are now linked to moves to other teams as the owner continues to sell up
- Hotel stays for players have been blocked
- First team coaching staff have been made redundant (and also - as importantly - general staff at the club let go)
- Heating is switched off at training ground and it's reported by whistleblowers that staff are wearing coats/hats indoors as it is very cold
- Catering company owed nearly £100k and have left the club - players now bringing in microwave meals or packed lunches
- Post-match meals cancelled, again players bringing in their own food to have after games.
- We have 4 months now of unpaid tax bills
- Our sponsor (Select Car Leasing) paid some of the salaries a few months back to try to help
- The owner refuses to communicate with the club, fans or journalists
- Since our pitch invasion, the EFL have now added £50k fine onto the 4 months of unpaid fines
Reading FC have been in existence for 152 years. I believe they're one of the oldest clubs in the league. The future of the club is in real doubt and we may not last the rest of this season.
The EFL continue to make it harder, adding deductions, adding fines, yet refusing to assist or even acknowledge the failings in allowing him to buy the club.
It's good to see Ian Wright, Gary Neville, Jeff Stelling supporting the cause but we need formal action to force the owner out or to prevent liquidation.

heartfelt ramblings
I'd like to say ... There may be lighthearted ribbing and picking of freshly healing wounds here with the ebb & flo of victories & losses but it's only the true supporters who suffer with a poorly owner/managed club .. so .... all on here are genuinely thinking of you and your plight,
