What, you mean the type of stuff like ORD posted before about there being poor tactics, no quality, a crap game etc. Bloody ironic after the tripe you have served up this season, and judging the positions of the two clubs tonight compare to you lot.
Ooh feisty! I enjoyed the game very much. Thought both teams played well.
Happy with that result, don't know how good a game it was. Scouse ring pieces twitching again lol?
Sad days having to hope city stop them winning the league but hey ho it's something to hope for, lesser of two evils I suppose.
Reading- can we keep the momentum going or is the romance of the FA cup still alive and well?

However I am a bit curious as to what is good tactics/ exciting to watch etc if ORD thinks they are poor? Man City have to be one of the most exciting clubs to watch I've seen. We have been more clinical and a bit boring compared to last year, but tactics have worked great.
If you lot keep the attacking football going that Jose basically seemed to stop you could be a good wildcard next season, although I suspect you need to sort out the defence to really challange for the league. And of course is this the way you will continue, or is a lot of it the "new manager" boost? Tottenham game will be interesting - and feel very dirty for saying it, but hope you turn them over!
The game improved a lot as it wore on. The super high intensity pressing stuff can result in pretty bad football from both sides, which was how the game went early on. Liverpool were hitting long balls to beat the press, and City were just passing the ball out of play because of the pressure. Tense and energetic, but not very pretty.
As I said, the game improved a lot once some space opened up.

And Liverpool going unbeaten in the league all season.
Thankfully we can put an end to that fkwiterry now.
Can you imagine, just for one moment, the gloriousness of the wheels coming off at Liverpool this season and Utd going on a new manager run till season end and finishing above lol? Oh my days that would be sweet. Thankfully we can put an end to that fkwiterry now.
It wouldn't matter who wins the league then :-)
We can dream haha!

Let's keep it to football talk eh? This thread has been almost interesting and readable since Jose went along with all the boring wind up ste.
It's FA cup weekend and hoping for 5 on the bounce.
We can make it 5 in a row I'm certain. It's FA cup weekend and hoping for 5 on the bounce.
Lukaku and Sanchez are both starting per Ole's presser just now. They'll be raring to go I'm sure and keen to impress further. Pogba a doubt but he'd be rested I think anyway for this one. Rojo and Smalling out.
Romero
Dalot
Lindelhof
Jones
Darmian
Fred
Matic
Fellaini (if he passes a fitness test today)
Lingard
Lukaku
Sanchez
I think he'll put a few of the kids on the bench. If we're winning comfortably I think we'll see at least some of them come on - Gomes, Chong...maybe even Greenwood?

I think you've nailed it there. The pressure was huge, and the players were a little frantic at times, super pumped up so the quality dropped a little from both sides at the start. It took City 35 minutes I think to fashion a chance and Liverpool had only 1 or 2 in that time. But the game improved once the first goal went in. As I said, the game improved a lot once some space opened up.
Anyway who cares?
United, United, United!!

We can't be sure it was a Liverpool fan that started that petition off to be honest.
However, I wouldn't put it past them!

You'd hope OGS has a valuable input regardless of if he stays at season end, on the off chance we do buy anyone in January. Not even sure who is available right now.
He's got the right mindset to advise on now and in summer, let's hope Woodward listens and perhaps changes tack.
