It will be good to see if Pep can manage another team without the likes of Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Pique, Alves.
Them players were already at the club before him were't they, winning the champions league and La Liga.
I wonder why Guardiola is leaving? Is it that he sees Barcelona not being the same side that they have been the past 10 years?
Thiago, Tello and Cuenca have to step up to the plate as eventually Xavi and Inieta will be finishing.

I'm a bit surprised at this. I know its normal for Barca and Real to change manager frequently all the time but I didn't feel Guardiola had done all he could.
Still I'm excited to see what Tito can bring - he's been second to Guardiola since they were in charge of the B team so this will be interesting all on his own!
Hope his health is now in good order for the crazy road ahead anyway

Who will replace him I wonder? Any thoughts??
I've heard there after Bielsa at Bilbao. Wouldn't be suprised if they went for Luis Enrique at Roma though.History isn't exactly littered with successful conversions from assistant to El Hombre, so I do wonder whether this is a good move. It almost looks like a holding role for a year, allowing Pep to take a holiday, recharge and then return the following season. Or, maybe Enrique/Bielsa/other rocks up then?

Ah right didn't know that the assistant had already been appointed. Interesting move. Personally I don't think Guardiola will be returning to Barca after his sabattical. He's Man Utd's replacement for Fergie IMO.
Is Fergie every going to retire though? Any ideas when he actually will??? Would be interesting to see whether that'd be the case! Would rather see him at Chelsea though personally, mainly as I don't like man utd

Rumour is that he may retire in two years, but it's all heresay. Know one actually knows apart from the man himself. I'm hoping Avram Grant returns to Chelsea to lead them to glory

Mind you, I'd say either of them would be well served by avoiding following Old Purple Nose. It very much has the look of a hiding to nothing & arguably the sensible option is to be the man after that.
Anyhow, I'm not sure I see Guardiola at Old Trafford for some reason. Arsenal I could see & maybe even the Scousers. Or, the obvious two if he fancies a yacht
