Terry is exactly the kind of player we have been missing, a born leader, gives 100% every game and somebody that doesn't give a toss what people think of him.

We had it with Adams, Vierra and even that crazy Lehmann, somebody that can rip into players that aren't performing and isn't afraid of bruising a few ego's.

But, back on topic, no there isn't a space for Terry at the club, he's far too entrenched into Chelsea's recent history.
except wenger purposefully eliminated those types of player and replaced them with the meek. the ramseys, monreals, and girouds of this world are only capable of managing their facial hair or latest highlights not a comeback on the pitch.

he doesn't like being questioned or challenged.
Yep.

I now wonder if that's what pushed Henry out last year, and the TV pundit issue thing was just a smoke screen story to cover up the real reasons....??

Let's face it, he won the title when back in the day it was either them OR Man U (or Blackburn in a one-off season) and that was before him anyway ... and even ol' Whiskey Nose couldn't win it every year.

Since even more money has flooded into the game, and the lesser clubs have got richer and bought better players (and managers) he's been found wanting - in Europe and domestically (except the FA Cup) ...

He presided over the move to the new ground and did exactly what the board wanted. but the fans would rather be playing at Highbury and winning the title I am sure.

He HAS to go - for better or worse for Arsenal, but it depends on him sadly, not the board to make that decision for him.

You have to admit, they're doing a better job than us of the on-pitch bit at the moment..... rolleyes
I think their biggest issue will be keeping hold of their manager, if Barca come calling at some point in the near future. And with more money pressures with the stadium (we know about that!) then they sell sell Kane, Ali etc if a big money offer for them comes knocking, so yes, they will do well to keep things more or less on the track they are on now.

Ironic really, the supporters who moaned the most about their new American owners, the Glazer's, have done everything the supporters wanted where's our American owner with the biggest stake in the club Stan Kroenke just ignores the supporters.
Give me the Glazer's over Kroenke any day!

Except that if the Glazers hadn't been rinsing the club like a cash cow, to service the debts and prop up all their other companies, they'd have a team better than Barca and Real combined.

That we'll never know, Barca and Real always seem a bit more of a lure due to the fact it's not always pissing down with rain where they are.

That was a pathetic, someone needs to have a word with him. Not very classy against a non league team when 5-0 up.

Yes, he is. He even had the audacity to say we played well against Bayern on Tuesday during the after match interview today, deluded doesnt even enter into it.

Playing well doesnt include holding your own for 45 minutes, then getting utterly reamed like a bunch of clueless amateurs.

He embarrasses himself in virtually every press conference to be honest.

I'm just hoping and praying we're in the final weeks of this dictatorship. Get the season done, fk him off and start looking forward.

Let's hope the video enables the perpetrator to be traced and prosecuted. Disgusting behaviour.
