DDG has kept Utd alive for a couple of seasons but not sure how you make comparisons of different keepers at different clubs in different leagues.

Compare the number of world-class saves and the number of mistakes. DDG makes an unparalleled number of the former (by a country mile) and makes almost no mistakes. That is a rare combination. About half the amazing saves I have ever seen have been made by DDG in his relatively short time at Utd.

Purely subjective then. I agree DDG is very good but I think it's a stretch to say no-one else comes close.

I thought we weren't that great a side, who was likely to go backwards now? If I remember some of the posting from a month or so ago?

Regarding DDG - is part of the question not that we always value our own players more than others do? For example Spuds would not swap Kane, we would not swap Salah, City would not swap Aguero etc... I think everyone would agree DDG is the best keeper in the PL, but there would be more variation if comparing to some of the other top keepers.

Looking forward to the match tomorrow night. FINALLY we get a test against a top European team. If we go out over 2 legs, fair play, we're not quite there yet. An appearance in the final would be great, though.

Can you wum a team that's got further than you in a competition you was probably suppose to do better than us in?
I'd say semi final was beyond our wildest dreams for this year, poss a year early.
Enjoy it and if your going take your singing voice with you the team will need it..
