Cant really complain if we keep winning.

I thought in the second half they were totally woeful and barely made any effort to play, which given the fact they had a couple of chances in the first half seems strange.

When did you start drinking from the fountain of optimism? wink

Of course there is a fine line in needing to be over-critical after a win but in a way, weren't we complaining United were picking up 3 points by not playing well a lot of last season? Whilst our football even now is of a much higher quality than any of that anti-football thay was served up, we did however create a rod last season with our attacking displays which we are now not only being measured against but is also being used to whip our own back with.

The lads over the Utd forum have been a bit quiet the last few days. Not nervous are they?

I think part of this is also conservation of energy. It's a long season, with lots of games. Going balls out to win 5-0 when you can mooch about and win 2-0 is perhaps a less efficient use of energy. It's unlikely that goal difference will be the ultimate deciding factor at the end of the season.

Well done Everton
A rare occurrence, a top 6 side dropping points to a non top 6 team this season.

Crazy season isn’t it. I think it is because we expect more from the players especially after last year.
Hopefully with Shaqiri getting more time the front 3 will get more chances as they won’t have to create everything themselves as they seem to have tried to do the past few weeks.
Henderson and Keita back fit now too for the congested part of the season.

Sye it's a discussion about a match we have just watched.

You can have a hard on over it if you like. I am just trying to discuss it as an adult would discuss any topic.

Good result in the Chelsea game, but I reckon United are going to get a bit of a kicking.

Same here.

I am seeing this as a "free match".
No bad result now we have won.

Yep. United win, we stay top. United get a kicking, we all have a good laugh.

Win win.

Haven't city scored 6 in each of their last 2 home games? That will do nicely

Looks like we will have to make do with the latter option!
