What a great possession-passing goal. Must have been at least 30 passes?!

Crazy that there are still 3 teams unbeaten 12 games in. I know points wise it's quite close, but I think the GD column is starting to show who are rivals for each other.

There was an article in one of the papers today saying that teams outside the big six (including utd in the 6) have only taken 13 points off the big six so far this season. Before today

That is a mad stat. We have only dropped points to big 6 teams, beaten everyone else.

At this stage last season we were 12 points behind City, I’ll take that for now. Bit of a gap beginning to open up between the top 5 and the rest, though Arsenal lost a little bit of ground today. Massive gulf in class between the two Manchester teams today.

Jose just said it was a positive defensive performance, despite the 3 goals.

Wow.

Bit disappointing our rivals (and Tottenham) picked up the full points this weekend. Good we got a result too though.

That would be Tottenham who finished above you last season.

And you wonder why other fans laugh at you deluded fools ...

City are on fire at the moment. They'll have a sticky patch at some point, just depends if it'll be before or after they've clinched the title.

Happy with our results so far. There was a stat saying 30 points would be enough to be top in 18 of the last 24 seasons (Or something similar).

They may have one if they progress to final stages of CL (which they should do) but reality is, given current performance levels, we are far more likely to drop points.

Agreed we have to be delighted with points so far, just hope we can keep the pressure on, and get the balance right between defence and pressing/quick attack which isn't quite right at the moment.
