What a cock-up from City more like. Was more of a punt than anything else.

They all count though. smile

Bruno was fantastic, Rashford and Garnacho were good there but Mainoo started and finished it. Amazing really considering what I was expecting today.

They'll be getting some rockets up their backsides, come half-time.

Have to be ready for 2nd half onslaught.

Well then. I don't think many people saw this coming...massive 45 coming up, but we've been very solid so far. Fortune for the first, but the second was a beautiful team goal.

Lets fking go.

Look what happens when you have your two best centre backs playing…

How good is it to have two proper decent centre backs!?

I’m sure City will change now but unless we start to be overwhelmed, I think changing our approach would be a bad thing. We have to carry on attacking when we can so we keep them busy otherwise it’ll be a complete onslaught for the whole 2nd half.

What a first half.

As mentioned after the Arsenal game, Ten Hag has found a tactical setup that doesn't leave us wide open in the midfield.

From a midfield 6 with 2 roaming 10's time and again not working, to 2 sitting midfielders and a false 9 - completely different set up, and we look so much more coherent. It's like watching a different team. None of those wide open gaping chasms in the middle.

2nd half will be a nail biter, this 45 mins is going to go so slow.....

Incredible what a difference Martinez makes. Signing a good partner for him (Branthwaite?) and keeping him fit would be great.

I'm starting to think Amrabat needs to stay.

For what he’d cost, I’ve never really thought anything else. Even if he’s only an emergency option, he can steady the ship and while he’s not quick, he does seem to have a good engine.

Boof, so close from Haaland; smacks the aluminum-work.

He hasn’t been given much of a chance until we were getting thumped by palace. We are far better with him in the midfield than Casemiro.
