I don't agree that Enrique did a lot for us defensively. He barely did the minimum and he was no better than Johnson at left back. A minor blip in an otherwise very good season.
Talking of fullbacks, I thought Clichy was superb and almost completely nullified Bellamy.
Agreed that Bellamy had a tough game against Clichy. Clichys a quick player so Bellamy can't really knock it past him and run onto it.Talking of fullbacks, I thought Clichy was superb and almost completely nullified Bellamy.
Can't wait for the 2nd leg and then Man U, both in the same week!
Oh shush the lot of you. It's fine for UF to post the link - I appreciated it, read it - no-one mentioned it - what's the beef. Also it's not like debate is completely stifled on the issue as far as I can see, people can talk about what they like I guess. However personally I feel it's rather been done to death, opinions are entrenched etc, so I just chose not to. Let's move on.

I thought Bellamy was quiet last night but I guess there was a very strong discipline envoked last night he hardly left the touchline all game.
with regards to Johnson's tackle one thing I have learned about TV coverage is the angle at which we view the game can be so different to the angle from the opposite side and what looks horrendous from one side looks innocent enough from the other.I think the Refs get a lot of stick rightly in some cases but in others they say it the way they see it.How much technology do we want??.
It's amazing how quickly people forget the Cabaye tackle on Spearing.with regards to Johnson's tackle one thing I have learned about TV coverage is the angle at which we view the game can be so different to the angle from the opposite side and what looks horrendous from one side looks innocent enough from the other.I think the Refs get a lot of stick rightly in some cases but in others they say it the way they see it.How much technology do we want??.
If you have a personal comment to make to a poster about not using the appropriate channel dont be a hypocrite and do the same thing. Why not just come on and talk about football instead of trying to point score .
Last nights RESULT was worthy of note as it was a perfect way to tackle an away leg. Mancini seems a bit 1 dimensional and after spending as much as he has can he really complain his squad isnt big enough?

I know what you're saying, but I feel for Mancini a little. OK he's got endless cash, but imagine building such a good team to have ACN take players, then Kompany, then silva.... He's not had a lot of luck lately. He wa shappy to take th eplaudits when they where hammering in over 3 goals a game but he seems a little nervous now and it hasn't even got to squeeky bum time yet.The difference between City and Utd could come down to their Managers and only one person will win that one.Come on Spurs.!!
