beckham really didnt look happy.
What's his role in the squad now? Or is he just having a free holiday?

England don't actually look like they can be bothered playing football.
Apart from the goal very little has been created, and does appear to be one tactic of hoofing to heskey. We look good when passing it around though

Easily the best first half England have had for a while. Although I must say USA are looking quite dangerous on the attack.
I beg to differ.....I think, uh oh WTF?
!!
urmmmmmmm I'm glad I added the sentence about the yanks being dangerous haha, no excuse for a mistake like that, i cringed!

I don't think he is worried about the cost of anything

yep! The HD feed is back on!! How bizarre
To be fair to ITV (not that i should be after the goal fiasco) i suspect they transmit whatever feed they're given by the host broadcaster.
well it's bloody gone again!!!
I notice the 'ITV HD' log vanishes from the top right as well, so it may be an ITV fault. I'm blaming them anyway. For everything, including the USA goal.

I am watching it at home which is a mistake as in the pub you talk and then watch the beautiful, fluent play when it actually happens.

At home you have to watch England play like a pub team for 96 horrible minutes.

I agree, not sure he'd be in a travel lodge if he wasn't with England.

His job role is team talker, ambassador for 2018, ambassador for England and just generally being there to pick the team up.

By far the best mans man we have, I have a slight non gay man love for him biggrin

greens one mistake is nothing compared to nothing happening up front. If we can't pressure the opponents penalty box with USA what are you going to do when you get through to the next round?

Very very poor attacking wise, one nightmare of a goal keeping disaster should not take away from it.

The team should get a rollocking and the manager should sort things out if he is worth £6m per year in the next 15 minutes or we are sunk for another 4 years I fear.

Hopes again seem to be misplaced

The Vorderman effect. They paid way way over the odds for him, so have to use him in everything vaguely footie related.

What is Keegan on about?! He's ONLY had 10 internationals! That's a mistake you'd expect of 10 games full stop.

Yeah rooney is fairly quiet at the mo, second half will be different i hope.

Shame about the USA goalie gettin booted in the chest, heskey wasnt it? well worth having him for that alone haha. But Heskey is doing alright from what ive seen

We will score one, feel sorry for green that was a poor save but i bet hes feeling it
