You were brilliant yesterday.
I’d be amazed if you don’t retain the title .
Thank you but I do think it’ll be very tight between City,Utd,Chelsea and Liverpool this year. Which has to be a good thing!I’d be amazed if you don’t retain the title .

You feeling ok Franki ?
I've always been complimentary about the football you have played ,my issue is with where football has gone because of the likes of chelsea and your owners.franki68 said:

your club were absolutely instrumental in starting and continuing the madness in football for a good while. chelsea and latterly city merely joined in.franki68 said:

Us and Chelsea just jumped on the bandwagon.
I've no issues with how much we spend - it's not my money and it wasn't us who turned football into a billionaire's business. It's well documented that we had to spend more than we had planned a lot faster before the FFP drawbridge slammed shut.
Looking at Chelsea as an outsider, yes they've spent bucketloads in the past but they win a lot of trophies (like us) and their academy pretty much paid for Lukaku this year (I'm sure ours will be funding similar in the next few years). They are a really good businesses.
Most fans seem to love where it's gone - ask Leicester fans what they think of their rich owner.
I've certainly got no complaints after watching all of that incredibly expensively nurtured talent at the last world cup and Euros. Oh, and winning the last 3/4 Premier leagues too of course

I assume Grealish had been caught with the refs wife, I don't think he got a single decision.
Grealish is in danger of being tagged by refs for playing for decisions. He needs to rein it in IMO.City looked better than a 2-0 result suggests to me. The return match will be interesting.
The Sheik’s given me permission to reply now…
City were really good last night and much better than the result suggests. However, having 3 of the most potent forwards in the world allowed PSG to pack the penalty area with 7 players and catch City on the break. If the double cross bar incident had gone in then who knows?
The Messi goal was breath taking though

They did similar to bayern last year, bayern battered them,28 efforts on goal and good chances at that,PSg broke 3 times and scored 3 goals and won.You played well, but they defended well and as you say that front 3 they have is a problem for anyone.City were really good last night and much better than the result suggests. De Bruyne should have gone though ,the lack of consistency by the refs is astonishing,
Plenty of sensible, realistic and (dare I say it!) classy posts on the Liverpool thread tonight
Unfortunately not everyone’s the same
Breaking: #ManCity’s backroom staff have made an official complaint after they were allegedly spat at by a Liverpool fan sitting close by during the second half. They believe the incident was caught on camera, with the investigation ongoing.
